Hey Avneet,

I read ur posts, u r one of the luckiest person in this forum,, even I went through interview when I first stated as a student to canada,, if u r lucky enough they will stamp ur passport on the same day,, please carry the photos of ur marriage most preferably the family group photos and also I advice u to carry the family photos of urs and ur husbands (along with ur marriage photos)..make sure u carry some family photos of urs and ur husbands before marriage and note down the years which photos were taken, u got to carry all the docs which u had submitted for the visa application ,, and finally GOOD LUCK,,

I think I have an answer to this one. I have applied GCMS notes for myself quite a few times when I applied my PR application under the Quebec Skilled worker class. This time I am sponsoring my wife so I am repeating the same process yet again. Ok so back to the main point, Our files have to pass 4 different categories, namely the medical, security, criminality and eligibility. I am sure most of the people are already aware about it. Medicals are checked first since the medical reports are being sent at the same time as the application. Then comes the eligibility, where they check the genuineness of a marriage. Once they are fully convinced, they pass the eligibility category as well after which our online status goes In Process. So basically, the applications have passed only the medical and eligibility. The files are now undergoing the security/criminality checks and the time duration for that depends on case to case for example, number of countries visited, any crimes committed blaah blaah..and these checks are done in a group. Several applications have been assigned in an group so all those applications follow each other at the same time. Some time they give these files to an agency who does the background checks. So once, we pass the security/criminality, application files will be forwarded to the final decision making officers and we'll get a status update as decision made (on e-cas) once they approve the files.

when did u mail them an enquiry email? how long did they take to reply?

They had requested additional pics from me a month back but they havent acknowledged the receipt of photos, also my status is still AR.

Can u let me know how do i send an enquiry mail? is it regular mail or i have to fill up some form?

DELHIIMMIGRATION @ international.gc.ca pe mail kiya tha puchne ke liye ki medicals n update hue abhi tk wid my Passport no ,application no ,DOB,name den unka reply aya ki aapke medicals awaited hai kyuk apka ecas abhi update n kiya coz its under interview queqe whenever ur interview date is scheduled we will snd u interview letter before 6 weeks

abhi lagta hain ki they wil reopen my file in oct only...
