What is going on here??? No DM for anyone?? I thought IP to DM usually takes 10-15 days.

Guys, I need some urgent help :S :S :S Really stressed out and worried.

I got an email from New Delhi asking for the following 1. Police Clearance 2. Proof of PR fee. Then it went on to say to send it to them if I haven't already included it in the application. So here's the issue.. I HAVE already included them in the application so why do they want it again. Can't they just see that its already there?!! The police clearance is nowhere near being expired. I can resend the receipt of payment no problem, but I can't send them the police clearance again... I had included the original in the application ???!!! If I do send them these documents then how should I do this? Just reply to their email and send it as an attachment or mail it to them? And If I mail it then to which address? New Delhi or Mississauga? Please help me!

This is a standard email. I also got this email and I included all this in original package. They said "if you havent done so". When I my wife got this, I also got worried. I called CIC and they said if you already send it then don't worry. After I got this letter, we send all the requested with a letter (including both UCI/file and subject) to NVDO. I don't think its anything to be worried about. Just saying it reached NVDO.

My 15 days will be this coming Monday. Also someone who went through this process last year told me if your status changed to IP on Monday than most likely it will chnage to DM on a Monday too. Lets see how true that is with all of us...

Hi I am 3rd Feb applicant mine was no interview but it added 2. As medical results received on 27th Aug, have you got any update yet.
A friend got telephonic interview 4 days ago and they changed to in process.

Guys,

In case you are wondering why everybody gets this AOR email even when they have submitted documents or paid fee already, I have summarized a few reason that I can understand. Hope this helps to understand the process instead of cursing CIC for everything:

1. The rules for getting the PCC is different for different countries...so more than 200 such rules exist in CIC website. A few countries will not give you an upfront PCC (unlike India) and they will ask you to provide a proof that CIC has requested a PCC from you. In that case you need to provide this AOR letter to the police department of that country (example is Singapore).

2. You might be staying in multiple countries and it is possible that at the time of application you were staying in a foreign country for less than 6 months, but now the 6 months are over and now you need to provide the PCC for that country as well. If that is a case, than this reminder is for you.

3. They provide you an option to either chose to pay RPRF upfront or later. So in case you have not paid upfront, then this letter also serves the purpose to remind you to pay RPRF to avoid further delays. Instead of checking for everyone who has paid and who has not (which will take time for CIC), they just add a generic statement to this letter so that you can take action in case you have not paid already.

The email clearly mentions if not already paid or if not already submitted., in bold and underline. So I think it should not cause any confusion.
