what is your timeline ?

I have a question for some experienced fellows here. Once sponsor's part of processing is done and get approved for sponsorship can he or she go stay with the spouse outside country and then come back together?

I applied on April 10th. The ECAS page shows "Application Received". I've just been following this forum and cam to know that the Jan applicants have got their IP. Any guesses on when April applicants can expect IP/DM?

No it not at all suggested. if you really want to travel, you can but for couple of weeks not more than that. sponsor should be in canada during the spousal visa is under process.

Welcome to the forum!

Currently Dec'13 people are getting visas and Jan'14 applicants are being in process. so a 10 month timeline... however as the website says, it is 13 month process. there are many applicants waiting in 2013 forum applicants from sept'13 till nov'13.

Good luck with your applicantion. you can add your details to our spreadsheet if you would like to share..
