Hello Folks,
One quick question, there is 13 months processing time for Spouse Visa; in Canada they take 2 months for processing so in total do they take 15 months? is that real? I have heard from people that it takes 8 months all together for Spouse Visa if everything goes smooth. Is there anybody who has got their spouse visa within 10 months or a year?
And if immigration process takes that long (15 months) is there any other way to call spouse in Canada? (work permit/visiting visa?). Because it is ridiculous if they take that long. Official time for Chineese people is 8 months then why 13 months for Indians?
My friend has pakistani colleague working with him his wife got her PR within 11 months (their actual processing time is over 2 years). I am not sure whether is that true or not. If that is true than processing time for Indians should me less.
I am from Regina, Saskatchewan and I got my PR withing a year, so is it possible for my spouse to get her PR within that time frame?
Hello Aum, welcome to Forum....
Yes, Officially in CIC website Processing time is 13 months, but many of Dec applicants got Visa so...within 8-10 months, NDVO release visa....and as u said, there is a only way in which ur wife can get PR....as u already got ur PR...
there is in another case in which, if u r on work permit then , u can call ur Spousee on visitor and the she can apply for work permit and she will be given work permit same as urs..and both of u can apply for ur PR at the same time...
but as u are already PR...then there is no other option for getting PR for ur wife..
