i had my file transferred to NDVO on july 15.. still haven't received an AOR2 from NDVO... Should i be worried... seems like a long tym... its been two weeks already.. getting anxious... ??? please advice guys.....

It usually takes any time between 15 days to 1 mnt to get AoR.

hey veb,

just so we are on the same page (and trying not to sound stupid), both of us are talking about the AOR2 right.. that is the generic mail/e-mail sent from NDVO to the person being sponsored, once CPC MISSISSAUGA has transferred the fie to NDVO....

Hello Everyone,

I got a letter from New delhi Office with Client id number and Application number but in letter they required me to submit Police Clearance Certificate and Proof of Payment i.e. fees . But i already had submitted these docs in my application file. Did they misplaced these docs. If not, If i RE-send them these docs won't they get confused.
Shud i resend them the copies of these docs.
I will appreciate all's help esp. senior members
Need your help what shud i do...??

Hi guys,

First time poster, I have a question about the Step 1 in the family (spouse) sponsorship process. I applied to sponsor my wive to move to Canada from India and our package was received into the CIC-M mail room on the 5th of June. I am under the impression that we should hear something about our package being received in the next week or so and maybe a SA soon after, but my wife is under the impression that they will open the package soon but it will take 55 days from that day before we hear about our SA. Can anyone clear up our understanding or misunderstanding of the first step of this long long process.

It takes 55 days now for the file to be transferred..if u send ur application on 5 th of June May be in a week or so you vl get ur aor mail..

i just check in 2013 forum and i guess NDVO has started Nov 13 file....so i guess they have started work on Nov also...so ....may be our will be come soon,,,,

Bearing in mind that we may only have about 10% (or less) of applicants on these forums, so NDVO may well be into Nov applications by now. We know that the volume of applications received in Nov/Dec was far less compared to other months of the year. Lets all pray for speeding processing.

I am going to make a wild guess here. A 2014 applicant will get PPR by 15-Aug!! (lets hope)
