If this is true, then the chances are we are going to get the PPR soon, at least they touched 2014 files, hence by August End we could see Feb applicants getting PPR too and so on...

Sailing in the same boat... I too resigned in March thinking it would take hardly any time... My husband and I referred to timelines of a friend who got her Spousal class PR 2 years ago within 5 months.. We got married in Nov but couldn't apply immediately as I was in the USA for 2yrs and needed police clearance from there which took almost 3 months.. Then CIC lost my application which they found after a lot of coaxing (We found out about it only after those timelines were crossed - It took 100+ days for it to be transferred to NDVO)... So technically, 6 months down the drain.. and now that I know there is a longer wait ahead of me, I really don't know how to handle this disappointment.. :'( :-X

Sorry to hear that.. i can understand.. we left our jobs in the hope of getting visa sooner as i knew till 2012 ppl got their visa in 5 to 6 months... n now this wait n its very hard to pass time n thinking abt visa all the time..
