hello friends i am still need help from you all...

my wife has put my file from canada and she has paid 550$ fee and i got the receipt.

but i would like to know how i can check status....

i only got the receipt number of 550$ ... i see a her name, birthdate, receipt number ... her address....

please friends help me in this...

You will get a confirmation letter and/or email from CIC which will include a UCI number which can be used to check status online. The receipt number you have will not work.

Every PR gets an UCI. Mine is the same since i came to Canada. Since the spouse is a new application, he/she will get a new UCI.

Both UCI numbers can be used to check the application status.

With the sponsors UCI you can check both the sponsor approval status as well as the spouse approval process.

With the spouse's UCI you can only see her/his own status.

The spouse's UCI usually comes in AOR2.
Most of the people in this forum states, its not mandate that everyone will receive AOR2.So file is still in process although you do not get the AOR2? or Only AOR2 notifies they are working on the file.

If you are following that statement, then you don't have to worry about how many UCI numbers :)

Hello Naveen,
NDVO is currently processing Sept 15-30 applications (as per New Delhi 2013 forum). No one from 2014 has got PPR yet. If you want to be updated on December files status, kindly follow New Delhi 2013 forum, as members are very active over there.
I received ppr in January but missed it as they had the wrong email address. when my Hubby went to drop it off they refused it saying they changed their process. they no longer take passports until the final stages

Hi Iceskater and guys, Turns out that the current spreadsheet is using old version of google spreadsheets. So, there are not many features enabled - it can't even compare two dates properly, and count things.

I have a new spreadsheet here: http://goo.gl/nl1Kte

If the moderator can verify once and place it in the top post, then perhaps it could be useful.

I do wish though that more people would add data. 2013 applicants were nice and cool - loads of them added their timelines. We have barely 30 entries in our spreadsheet this year, and its July now.

Iceskater - how would you like the spreadsheet to be? Take a look at the above link and see if you want something similar - I can make it in my spare time :)

Hey can someone please add me in the spreadsheet app details are on the side it won't let me edit nd I dint want to mess up with the other data thanks in advance

Hi,

Can anyone please confirm if they still ask for the passport during early stages and keep with them for several months?

Hi Saini,

Were you trying to add to my spreadsheet? its not quite official yet. But, I enabled editing now. Perhaps Myrah can replace the main spreadsheet with mine.

By the way guys, what is file transfer? Is that AOR2? There seems to be a gap for people between AOR1 and File transfer...

No. Since Dec 2013 they have changed the process and will ask for passport towards the end.

File Transfer is usually 'Sponsorship Approval' from Mississauga office. SA comes few days after AOR1, for some people it is same day as AOR1. When you receive SA, the letter says that the file has been transferred to the visa office. AOR2 then comes from the visa office approx. 2 weeks after SA.

Thanks Pameyb. So, I kept the spreadsheet as it is. Not sure if AOR2 stats are too useful - this seems more related to shipping speed than processing speed. So unless Fedex has a strike, we can expect this to stay constant mostly.

I took the liberty to scour the thread and gather some more data from users who have posted their timelines on the side. I added this to my spreadsheet. http://goo.gl/nl1Kte

Would be nice if more people added their timelines.
