I am expecting my canadian citizenship Oath ceremony in mid June, if my legal status changes from PR to citizen do i have to inform CIC about the change(as i have applied for my wife under spousal class).

Raj

I would say yes, you should. Not sure if it will have any impact either way if you inform or not, but just in case they ask for interview and in that your status is not updated, they might raise it as an issue. Not too sure though, just a thought

Hi Ladies and Guys!

Just dropping in to say Hi to all!

I put a file on February 18th, received first AOR, SA and second AOR from New dehli Visa office so far!

Just waiting for my wife's passport to be called!

I don't know why but it took me a while to get SA. I hope I am on right track. And our timeline is on par with everyone.

Just curious, is there anyone who applied this year got passport request yet?

Thanks and good luck all!

@knowledge_eater I applied on dec 23, 2013 n I still haven't received the passport call for my hubby I paid his RPRF on march 28,2014 :(

Their will be a difference of 3-4 days,so consider ur application reached on 11 or 12 April.In my case 4th was the delivery day by Canada post but according to CIC they received on 7th.So dont worry,it will come this week.

Hello everyone,

I received an email from CIC New delhi to submit extra photographs and here is the specification

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
PHOTOGRAPH REQUIREMENTS

In order to continue processing of your application, you must send to this office :

Two identical photographs of each person for whom fees have been paid and a visa is being
issued.

The photos must meet the following specifications exactly. Photographs that do not
meet these specifications will not be accepted and will delay the issuance of your visa(s).

THE PHOTOGRAPHS MUST:

1. Show a full front view of the person's head and shoulders showing full face centred in the
middle of the photograph against a plain white background. No background of any colour, no
matter how light, will be accepted.

2. Be identical (black and white or colour) produced from the same untouched negative, or
exposed simultaneously by a split-image or multi-lens camera. Digital photographs or any
kind of reproduced images will not be accepted.

3. Be produced on single weight matte photographic paper and the photographs must:
* have an image of the head that is between 25 mm and 35 mm (1" and 1 3/8") from chin to
crown;
AND
* have a 35 mm x 45 mm (1 3/8" x 1 3/4") finished size;

4. Have been taken within the last 12 months

5. Have the full name and date of birth of the person in the photograph printed on the back;

PHOTOGRAPHS SHOULD BE PLACED IN AN ENVELOPE. PHOTOGRAPHS THAT HAVE
STAPLE HOLES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

I have tried number of photographers in Bangalore and no one is ready to take a photo like this as they do not have any means to print the full name and date of birth on the back.

Wondering, if anyone else has been in a similar situation or know a place in Bangalore that can take photos like this?
