applications tracking sheet is all messed up

hello guys. I applied for my wife in Aug.2013 but still no passport request. It has been 9 months. I did an inquiry they said they have not reviewed the application yet

Things have become ridiculously slow at the office! From checking the 2013 sheet, people who have applied in late July are just getting their stamped passports. That leaves about at least 5 months more for people who have applied in December 2013! As for passport requests, for some reason, people who sent their application after Christmas have not received passport requests yet!

I'm in some ways relieved that I'm not alone.. at least this helps with the worry of something being wrong with my application. it is taking much longer in comparison to last years applicants. im a December applicant still no ppr. :(

Hope you're all enjoying the long weekend!

I am curious about the timelines for tasks related to the Visa Office (apologies if it has been covered in another topic elsewhere, if so a link to it would be greatly appreciated :) ).

What is the order and the associated timelines for tasks/statuses related to the New Delhi Visa Office? It may be a tough question to answer as the timelines vary from case to case. However I was wondering if there was an average that has been observed.

For example:
1) Application has been received --> Today
2) Medical results have been received --> 2 weeks later
3) .... --> 1 month later
4) PPR --> Y months later
5) DM --> Z months later
6) ...

Does anyone know the order and the timelines?

Thanks in advance!!

Hello everyone,

I made some minor changes to the New Delhi 2014 spreadsheet. I created a new sheet called "Sorted Information" that:
  • sorts the contents based on the date the application was received by CIC
  • freezes the top two rows when scrolling down
  • freezes the first column when scrolling to the right, so that we know whose timelines we are looking at

I hope everyone finds these minor changes useful.

Thanks!

Any feedback on my query below?

I got married in November 2013 (Pakistan) as my spouse was there at the time however is an Indian National.

I am thinking of getting her to apply for visit visa to come to visit me here for couple months as I can only go visit her for 2 to 3 weeks only during vacation. I have gotten mixed views but not sure why they would reject.

Also, is it better to apply for visit visa before applying for Sponsorship or after?

Thanks!

It is good that they have not done a passport request so early. It seems they are no longer requesting a passport really early in the immigration process as their processing time has substantially increased. There is really no need to request the passport so early. For a lot of the 2013 applications their passports (including my wife's) has been with NDVO for 6 + months. This is really annoying as it is preventing us from traveling together.

Guys I'm in my final stage of finalizing my application.

Can anyone let me know if we need to submit the original or copy of the upfront medical report for my spouse?

Thanks a lot!

hi badshah
there are 50% chances of getting a visitor is for your wife....why do you want to complicate the procedure and waste your time...also there is a que on one of the forms that have you ever been refused a visa? so just aply for her sponsorship and maybe if it is convenient you can visit her instead making your case weak

HI EVERYONE,
MY Husband sent his employment letter to NDVO last week...Does the NDVO send any e-mail regarding the updates?
