yup some applicants got status in process within 4-5 some after that time.... i gonna pass 5 months since i applied so let's see how much time they take in next month .... only 3 june applicants got ip in this month .... overall 6 month go into process and some march -may applicants stuck at AR/MR
no idea how NDVO working

How many days it takes normally for this whole process to change names on passport and reissue passport?

Pehla tusi viyah karvao araam naaal ghumo firo enjoy karo....sokha hi hai process ...jado wapis canada agaye fer leo tension...so far your work is to keep each and every record safe whether its digital or any receipt ...keep any boarding pass...any hotel bill...any shopping bill..give gifts to each other keep bills...that's it...I mean dont throw any documents from now onwards

it is ...my cousin also got married after 5 days of my wedding and his wife didn't put surname and CPC-M returned file
now she got new passport with surname and they gonna apply next month

But my friend got visa last month she was march applicant. She has not changed her name on PP and she got visa. So thats why I don't think its that important.

Surname is never done in tatkal. It's a normal application...I have experience...in Chandigarh

We also had it done through a normal process only. So I just dont know abt tatkal.

We didnt change the name but added my name as a spouse in her passport.

She just filled the forms and took an appointment and got it done in about 3 days.
Now a days they issue a new passport and didn't have to wait for passport verification since she had got one done less than a year back.

Hi , I read this forum almost every waking hour
Me and my husband were friends for one year, before we started dating, we dated for four years and then get married in 2014, Im born and raised in Canada , but went to India for university where I met my husband, we have pics dating back to 2008, but no phone bills and stuff, just whatapp convos that to only from January 2014, because with every fight the msgs were always the first to be deleted lol
We had an intercaste marriage.. I'm having a very hard time staying without him, because for the past 6 years he's been with me every single day, I went back in oct 2014, and just came back a week ago from India . He's my best friend , and I'm losing it day by day
My application was received on June 9 2014 , sponsor approval on August 6 th, and medicals received
Other then that no movement, I don't what to expect

i agree... but dear it's true they clearly mentioned about surname and returned file to them i dunno what's wrong with them if they didn't put surname what's a big deal ?
they working like unpredicitable ... we don't know about their style of working lol
