Thank you very much! Is the background check performed on both spouses or only the sponsored spouse? How will I know if/when they have received the new medicals?

my file is stuck on background checks . i've only stayed in australia more thn 6 months and provided ndvo with pcc upfront .. any idea how long they will take to finalise background checks .. my medical is expiring on 11th december .. ecas is still AR/MR

And do everyone coming to Canada has to come through Toronto or Vancouver for immigration purposes?? Is it ok to come via Calgary?

Plz tell me common mistakes and things which we forget while filling up... Like this, first thing which made me redo my application is i forgot to use black pen for signature. I knw its silly...but i guess m not alone to frek out in excitement n do such silly things... ;D ;D ;D ;D

Hey, wish you all the best with your application. Make sure you submit the latest forms and write NA wherever its not applicable to you. Have just come to know that IMM0008 has been updated on 1st Nov., so make sure that you dont send the old one.

i got reply from ndvo to my case specific inquiry that interview requirement has been waived and background checks are in process . no further action is required by applicant office will contact you.

ecas is still AR MR

its been 12 days since DM n still no PPR
Is this normal or they are just holding on to my application?? now i am getting worried .. is there any call centre number where i can contact NDVO call centre and tell them y i havnt received mY PPR..

Well ideally it should come within 15-20 days, make sure to check your spam folder too. You can only mail NDVO, and pray that they would reply. If its take more time, contact your MP.

If its AR MR than you should wait for IP, as after IP it should be done in a month. Its good that interview is waived off, so just relax and keep checking the ecas and your mail.
