Well, you can try to send a travelers document request to NDVO and they may give you back your PR status based on humanitarian and compassionate ground, this is only possible if your PR had expired. But since 2012 it's very long time, and not sure if that will work.SUNITA73 said:HI EVERYONE!!
So good to c the support on this group..........since everyone is in the same boat it makes this waiting period bearable.
I am new to this group and have a few queries.....hoping someone will reply.
My husband is in Canada(Vancouver) since the past two years and has a PR status. So do me n my Daughter but we had to leave Canada due to some circumstances and now my PR card has expired(2012). My husband wants to appply for our sponsorship, we have been married 12 years.
1) Do i have to relinquish my PR status and how does one go about that........whats the procedure??
2) When exactly do we need to submit our medicals and pcc etc.
3) Any other advice on how to go about sponsorship......anything we can do to expedite the procedure like contacting a lawyer????.
Would pls appreciate a reply from someone
Thanks Sunita

I had applied for PR application, as a spouse, which was received by Canada Immigration on 17th January, 2014.
My medicals were also linked and also got mail to submit some documents, which i submitted on 26th March, 2014 at New Delhi Embassy.
Now, i am expecting passport request but unaware what is the status of my file in Delhi Embassy. :-[
Can anybody help me with the current status of which application is being processed right now ?
I am new to the forum so unable to find any excel or follow up. Any help would be highly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

I have sponsored my spouse in may 2014.
Does the age difference of 4-6 years matter???
Since NDVO showing 13 months of processing time. On an average, how long is it taking to get Visa Approvals.
Like you guys have are the witnesses to the timeline yourself.
Getting very impatient. Alas
Thanks,
