Well guys !! its that time of the life when you see DM on your file and no questions asked.
IP on 8 OCT
DM on 18 OCT

I really thank god for making this happen and uniting us again after almost 8 months soon. I wish everyone here in this forum good luck and happy married life. I am just waiting for the PPR nowww.

I called the Canada Visa call centre also..they said to wait till monday-Tuesday..

Where is the best place to send passport?

Does anyone know difference between sending it to local vfs office better or sending it directly to Dehli office is better!

Hi Kan Sri,
Here's my timeline. I don't have the exact dates of the early stages.

(1) Med: Mid - Jan 2014
(2) App received: Mid-Feb 2014
(3) Sponsorer (me) approved: Mid - March 2014
(4) In process: September 11 2014
(5) DM and PPR: September 30
(6) Passport sent thru VFS: October 7
Now Waiting for it..and I don't know when it's going to come.

I understand NDVO is very busy and I appreciate their work, but keeping the passport for so long isn't good and system should be improved, especially if the sponsored is approved.

In passport request, they require information about applicant and spouse.

If I am sponsoring my wife, I would still be called applicant?

"5) PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION FOR YOU, YOUR SPOUSE, AND CHILDREN:
(Please continue on a separate sheet if you have additional children) "

OR However, if this email is sent to my wife, she should be consider applicant and I would be the spouse!!

As far as I understand, the person who applied for PR is the "Applicant" and the spouse will be the person who sponsored.

Because this passport request is sent to the applicant for PR and not to the sponsorer. And in fact, the sponsorer has not applied for anything now.

The sponsorer applied for sponsorship and that file is approved and closed now.

Rest is up to you to interpret.

I think I agree with satbeerus2001.

My wife would be an applicant and I am the spouse. As she is the one, who will be approved for a visa ergo makes her an applicant.
