No after IP chances of interview is very rare even not happnd in so many cases..
So relax and wait for next update ans ur OMG moment...All the best

you can check ur status on ecas i.e online site of embassy n login there with ur application number date of birth n place of birth..

welcome to the forum..good luck with your application...you can check your status on ECAS - online system

1) you need UCI no of the sponsoror/sponsored person.
2) go to https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/?app=&lang=en
3) click on continue, next page click check box and continue
4) select UCI - drop down box for Identification Type:
5) type UCI number of corresponding Sponsoror/sponsored person in Identification Number:
6) fill in corresponding surname,DOB and Place of Birth
7) click continue..

that will tell you the status of the application...

someone asked about TRV....here is a quote from our dear friend Omega123!!

If you have already applied for PR and the applicantion is in process at CIC-M or you have received your SA already(preferred). Then as per my reading it is worth to give TRV a shot( if you dont mind the cost). it is extremely difficult to get TRV approved.....but worth every penny because you have a chance to be with your loved one....good luck...

Guys, i have something to share with u all.It may be useful for 2014 applicants. I applied for VISITOR VISA AND TODAY I GOT IT BACK WITH STATUS AS ACCEPTED FOR 10 YEARS!!!!!! Grin
So, guys, please dnt loose hope try at least once applying for visitor visa and may be ur the lucky one like me Cheesy..Although me and my husband were not very much positive abt it after getting so much negative views from ppl from the forum , we did apply.We did a lot of homework and finally we hav got it !!!!
So please try applying once...If you need any help from my side kindly get in touch with me.
