Hi,

I am new to this forum.

I have filed my husband's application on 2nd April. I received AOR on 17th May(file number) and sponsorship approval on 21st May. The status is Application received. I did not receive AOR 2 from Delhi so I was wondering that is it compulsory to receive that. Because one of my friend applied in June got AOR 2.

Can you pls help me with the below mentioned query. i am planning to file my application in the coming week.


1) The updated form does not have the tick box for less than 1 year of employment.
Now that the updated form is available, would we HAVE TO fill that? Or the old form that we have filled will still be accepted?
And what is the implication of the new form? Are they not considering experience less than a year? If not, how will affect my case because I have 2 jobs where my experience is less than a year – my current job.

2) The checklist says that the reference letter received from the organization must include the following:
- Details of remuneration
- No. of hours per week
None of my letters have that. It just says ‘FULL TIME’ under type of employment.
Therefore, are the letters correct? And will work?

Pls help.

IF YOU HAVE NOT SUBMITTED THE APPLICATION YET, ITS ALWAYS BETTER TO GO WITH THE MOST UPDATED VERSION.... SO CHANGE IT IF YOU HAVE NOT SUBMITTED...
INCOME IS NOT IMPORTANT TO SPONSOR SPOUSE AND CHILDREN.. SO DONT WORRY ABOUT THAT..

THE LETTER FROM YPUR EMPLOYER SHOULD CONTAIN YOUR NAME, DESIGNATION, ANNUAL SALARY AND FULL TIME IS GOOD ENOUGH... IT SHOULD ALSO CONTAIN CONTACT DETAILS OF YOUR EMPLOYER..

Not everyone gets AOR2 from New Delhi. it is a generic email sent out from NDVO.

It is an email asking for fee paid receipt and PCC of the applicant. so dont worry if you dont get it. If you have not paid the fees or did not subbmit the PCC with the application, once all PCC are ready please include those with a copy of the fee paid and a cover letter to submit all these documents to NDVO.
