i think you will hear something within couple weeks anytime. they are almost done with Sep! i agree it's been TOO slow!

It really seems NDVO people are sleeping most of the time..
A week it seems they have picked up pace, and then it seems they are dormant again!

that's because this forum has only less than 10% of total number of applicants. The rest of the 90% are getting updates too. So that's why it appears that NDVO is sleeping.

Recently my husband had been to MP, and there she said that the processing time is now going to be 26 months.. Maybe they will gradually rise it from 17 to now 20 and then 26..
Just like they had previously done from 13 to 15 and later 17.. They are getting worse..

Hold on for month of may. I am 6oct 2014, no remedical, no interview, got an email reply of case specific enquiry saying background check was going on which is now completed.. And on having done MP enquiry, we were told to wait for a month... So let's hope we hear something in a month..

I have been to 3 mps. my mp has done it twice and reported in december he was told background checks were done and eligibility was left to assess. while in march 2nd inquiry reported background checks are in progress..

2nd mp did only one in january and said all paperwork is good and just have to wait.
3rd MP was mccallum's office who refused to do anything and sent me back to my 1st mp (local area). Now my 1st mp is saying he will do another one in 2weeks and if that doesn't yield anything then i am free to knock down some doors to mccallum's office and let out all my frustration.. so i wait another 2-3 weeks till I go back to mccallum's office

hi bro..
I am also in similar condition, tried everything but no results.
GCMS notes= everything passed, file ready for visa
3 mp queries= everything passed just wait. (they can't push them even if file is ready for visa.)
Email and case specific inquiry to ndvo= no reply.
I am also considering knocking at mccallum s office. i would like to request everyone in similar condition to get together and meet the immigration minister.
thanks

Same is the case with us! We did enquiries thrice.. Filled in case specific enquiry on 3rd March and got reply on 25th April that background check is done. When contacted MP he said he can't do anything to speed up and it would take anything from one week to 4 weeks in the final queue with the officer for decision making.. He said it might in rare cases go beyond 4 weeks once your file is in the final queue..
Frustration is at its highest as God knows how long would they take for just the last step... But there is no option other than waiting..

The sad part is... even John Mccallum cannot speed up your process even if you complained to him. He has no power to pressure the NDVO. All he can do is assign more staff which i think they have... looking as some Aug., Sept. 2015 files are completed.
