I sent an email to a MP from my region but yet to receive a reply from them. I did not know that we could contact MPs and they are supposed to inquire on our behalf. This is my 16 months into the application. What about calling the delhi VO? Would they respond our calls? I heard sometime they respond to phone and not the case specific inquiry.

they don't have a number to call NDVO.. only email address and case specific form. I tried calling them one time from India and they clearly say it on the automated voice machine that no inquiries regarding spouse sponsorship file will be made on the phone or person, only via email. Then i hung up didn't bother talking to an agent (hold was over 15mins). you can always try calling them. I believe the number was 01141782000

i urge everyone to call this number and introduce yourself as 2014 applicant. Feel like annoying the Cr*p out of them on the phone will be the only way to speed up the process.

Big big congrats bhkr0008 !!!! Happy for you!! Now please God the rest of us next!!

I think that's the number for NDVO that ap1988 posted. it's worth a try.

No Idea how to move forward with this uncertainty. Calling up is also not a good idea then. I once talked to an immigration lawyer in Montreal. He told me to contact the visa office to know the status. He also suggested to try phone, fax and email. According to him, some visa offices respond to fax, some to phone and some to email. Just a chat with that lawyer. I am not sure but i will try faxing the enquiry letter once.

I have called taht num several times. Thr ans they have for me is .we dont have any info regarding the files. So basically ndvo call centre ppl dnt know nothing. Cic ppl in canada dnt know nothing. The mp's dont know nothing. So who in the world knows why there is such a huge delay.

When did your Medical expire? unfortunately you still within 17 months time frame. this is like the response you will get if you try to contact them.
May I know when your Medical expired? If your Medical expired in December except redo medical request Before end of March.if they expired in April expect tehr equest anytime from now and before end of April.

I am also on the same situation. Oct 2014 applicant but no remedical request yet. The only thing stopping us is this 17 months processing time requirement.

looks like they have seriously seriously slowed down with even the most basic assessment in the file. r.i.p 2014 files

hard to tell from this if you require interview or not.. Scroll all the way down to their notes and read if it says anything about "waiver recommended"

I think your file might be flaged for interview. VO or reviewing officer has found some red flag in your file.
Does it have any comments by Visa Officer. By now atleast one visa officer might have left detailed notes about your case.
First go through and understand what red flag is in your case.
