Interview required is like a decision has been taken yiu will definitely have interview. Recommended. Is when interview is suggested but this might be subjected to change in the second review.when you have interview required what you need to do is wait interview letter and instructions.

does anyone know if sending extra proofs and documents has helped anyone in changing from interview recommended to interview waived? is that possible?

No this will not change any decision that the officer has already stated.

Rather than, I would carry those extra proof and documents with you to the interview.. That is when it will be most needed and crucial.

I could be mistaken. But i think i read smthn like that a long tiem ago on forum. That somebody sent the proofs and they waived interview after recommendation even.

I actually already sent it via courier through my lawyer since he said it would be a good idea.
who knows..but thanks for telling me. i'll ask my husband to carry those as well for his interview.

It takes approx around one week to get the passport back frm the day of submission....

The good thiing is that every correspodance between you and them and whatever documentation you send it is noted in your dossier.even when you call the call center they put that.so I believe those proof you sent if they are really strong, they might help. For example I did sent to them Marriage pictures , telephones bills with my outgoing calls, and this were sent 4 months after application was sent.

oh that's something positive to hear. thanks dear. i did send them a lot of proofs because since my application i have visited him 3 times so we have some hotel receipts, pictures, phone calls, gifts, etc. so im hoping this would be something strong as proofs?

Those are good proof but I wish you had prepared them focusing on what were red flags.if you had seen them in your notes.also interview is not something negative don't be scared about it.I realized that in most of the cases in interview they are likely have their decision already. .if they were convinced before.your interview will reflect it, they will be nice as well in it.other interview, they officers are changing not friendly and at the end the outcome is bad.This is from what i heard from other members.we have not yet gone through one.we are waiting as well.

Pls tell me your thoughts about what is the difference between Interview Required and Recommended? I Got GCMS notes a bit ago in October 2015 and in those notes I found that Visa officer with Code name JM said interview Required with few concerns.. I thought to Address those concerns and I sent CIC e-mail in dec 2015, in e-mail i sent couple of letters ,pics which i thought can address officers concerns after this I again order notes, which i got on 28 Jan 2016 . I found My Criminality is PASS , Security is NOT STARTED (with s.15(1)) on right corner, Medical PASS and Eligibilty IN PROCESS .
