Medical done......02/05/2014
Medical expired.......
no remedical request
Interview...... recommended as per gcms
Interview date......18/01/2016.
I got call from ndvo and they told me that my interview is scheduled on January 18. After that I got email confirmation.
Hi everyone
Extremely sorry for the delay in sharing my interview experience but got a bit busy.
Fully relieved now coz the interview went well. And all that the interviewer said was I am satisfied with your genuinity of the relationship and rest all process will be done soon.
We took interpreter services because I was very nervous but the interviewer was very nice, her language and accent was easy to understand so we just wasted our money.
(I took the service to have extra time to frame my answer. Also if I wasn’t sure if I would get the Canadian accent)
She also asked if I know the interpreter.
She asked the same question to the interpreter.( We both answered NO)
Rest questions that she asked
1. Date of wedding
2. Checked passport and details
3. Asked y there is no name of your husband on your passport
(My passport was made before the wedding so she cross checked the dates).
4. Why did u guys opted for court marriage(We did court marriage but had grand engagement ceremony).
5. Asked about our engagement ceremony
6. What is roka,
For people who don't know, it is a ceremony done when boy and girl say yes for wedding.
7. Why did you guys did not do wedding at gurudwara.
8. Asked my spouse when did he migrated to Canada
(My spouse was with me as he was on holidays. )
9. How many places did you visited together and dates.
10. Checked the photo albums of our holidays together and family album
(Guys take extra photos to show you relation. We had 2 different albums
1 personal pics of our Holliday trips and 2 pics with family )
She emphasized most on the pictures
11. Asked my qualifications
12. Also asked my spouse about his qualifications
13. Also asked my spouse about places we visited together and when .
Then she said the magic words, what we were waiting eagerly. That " she is satisfied with our case and she approved the application"
14. She also asked if we have done medical.
We submitted the re medical report which we did upfront.
15. Also submitted the pcc

Hi,Tavleen said:Hi
They took nearly 15 minutes for the interview.
And the interpreting services names and contacts were attached in the interview email. I guess you can only hire an interpreter suggested by cic. There were 3 options and different rates for different languages. For hindi it was 3000INR.(2800 fees and 200 conveyance fees).
