Hello All, Greetings. My Spouse(applicant) recently resigned from her job & relocated to her moms place & she will be living there until visa is recieved. Is there an email address for NDVO to notify on address change? im aware of the letter to be uploaded signed by my spouse, can someone be kind enough to post a link on where to upload the letter. tnx in advance guys. Congrats to all who recieved PPR & STATUS CHANGE.

Have you done your remed in Aug 2015, have you had any update since then?

To be honest even I don't understand why it took so long. Our case was very straight forward...we had no interview and they only asked us to update them on my husband's new job once in 2014. I visited my husband twice and sent them all proofs of travel and communication.
According to my MP's office though it took long to do my husband's background checks because he works for the government and they scrutinize government employees more especially because of the geographic location that he's in (not sure how much of that is try though coz I never got an answer from cic regarding the wait).
We never had any forms missing or had any errors on any of the forms or errors in the medical exam but still took over 3 years to process. Guess they just took their sweet time with ours plus our case was initially transferred to Islamabad and it was chilling there collecting dust between March 2013-March 2014 which is when they transferred it to New Delhi.
How long have you been waiting for?

Ouch. Thats so stupid of them. M waiting since 18 months now.but have recmnded inetrview. Well atleast u have decision made. Ur wait paid off.u ve been very patient.

Dealing with my MP's staff is such a pain in ..... :'(
First they didn't want to do inquiry and said that to do inquiry they will need consent of my wife. ???
I emailed them again and said that all MP has power to inquire status even if file is within process times.

And this is what I get
"We understand that you are anxious to have your wife here in Canada; however, no file can be expedited and must be put thru the same due process as every application. Applications are worked on in the order they are received, external circumstances do not change this process. Please also note that an embassy will answer your email inquiries only if their average processing time has been exceeded. Otherwise, you should assume that your file is proceeding normally.

All MPs’ offices are asked by CIC to encourage constituents not to begin status enquiries until the processing time as stated on the website is passed. We can look into the file for you, but you need to know that, seeking information on a case that is still within the processing time could delay the finalization of the case because it may have to be pulled from the queue to determine its status. Should you choose to pursue this, I require your wife’s name, as per my first email."

First of all I never asked my MP to speed up my file process... still staff is stating that.. and is just giving textbook reply... saying NDVO is processing file in order they receive it... And furthermore stating that file may have to be pulled from queue and could be delayed by doing this... :-\ :-X :'(

I don't know what to do with this... :-\

Have you done your remed in Aug 2015, have you had any update since then?

Hi, we recieved email for Remedical on 17 December 2015 & the requirement was completed the very next day (Aug 2015 is the original medical date). MP enquirey reply on January-12-2016 stated documentation & medicals are valid, file is pending for final decision. Tnx

haven't seen any July 2014 applicant getting one yet
its gonna be a while dear unfortunately this is the pace NDVO operates specially with interview applicants we are the forgotten ones

For anyone who has landed recently, do you require any cash at the airport (aside from pocket change)? My wife will be landing next week, so I want to ensure that she carries sufficient cash if it's required at the airport.

Just an update.. We did an MP enquiry just today, got the answers back shortly after.
Wife's new full medicals have been receieved by NDVO, she completed it almost 10 days back. All checks have been completed and I guess it is sitting in the final review queue. MP office had advised us by end of February we should receive our Visa! We would officially hit our 17 months in February as we are a September 2014 applicant

Congrats, its 3 months and NDVO hasn't updated re-medical for my wife as per my MP. Hope they work little fast.

Glad you got an update. Have you ordered or seen the notes? The reason I ask is we did our re-meds on Sept 23 and we did an inquiry in Nov and we got a reply back saying we are still in processing queue and we are still in the 17 months and no updates we got then we got the notes in Dec which said everything was processed on Oct 10 a week after receiving the re-meds; we then contacted the MP and the next day we got PPR.

I ordered my first set of notes in November and received them at the end of December, at that time it said nothing was started in the notes. However, a few days before I got my first set of notes my wife receieved an email on December 22nd for Full IME Medical Examination. I also applied for my 2nd set of notes at the beginning of January, went for MP enquiry today to check the status of my wifes file.

Are we in the right direction?

Glad you got an update. your mp is efficient! Mine hasn't gotten back to me. Almost a week now.
