Thanks for the info. I dunno if this is the case with everyone, but when we got out notes last week, it said the re-medical request was sent out on 16th November, but we didn't get it till the 24th. Does it really take NVDO almost one week just to send send the email lol?

That's good news! Yes, it might around a few weeks to 3 + months from in process to decision made but in your case it might take a few day or few weeks since it's already in it's final stages but the question is when the next time they will take another look at your file. Yes, they need the passport for stamping within 30 days of passport request. It would be best to do a full medical as soon as you can in Canada. Once she makes it to India, send her passport to a visa office for finalization because there might be a chance that it will be too late.

Yeah, it was a great relief to finally hear from them. She just went to take care of the medicals today. I'll be e-mailing the receipts to NDVO later on.

The guy who called us basically told me that her medicals were the only thing left, so fingers crossed for a quick PPR!

I got this info from someone who received calls from delhi embassy. Even on truecaller its showing as high commision of india.
Number is : +91 11 4178 2000

I gotta an additional document request from NDVO office (even though me and my family lives in Sydney,Australia but file transferred to NDVO coz i am still holding Indian passport)

We were out of station second half of last month and due to the chennai floods, the mobile networks in the south have been affected since the beginning of december. Its still trying to be recovered. I am just hoping that ndvo dint try to contact us during this period and hopefully we dint miss their calls. Fingers crossed!!
