Is there anybody here who applied for PR before traditional wedding?i.e based on Register marriage(civil marriage act)

Same boat as you. except my notes said recommended interview so maybe i'm in that queue. did you order notes? i ordered my 2nd notes again to see if interview is for sure. expecting notes by end of this month.

I ordered first set of notes in last week of november.

BUT,they havent send any confirmation mail.

In-process for the last 3 and half months. GCMS notes says interview RECOMMENDED but just nothing happening.

hey every one. I need some help. I am 2014 applicant and a Canadian citizen. my husbands paperwork got transferred on September 11 2014. his medical has expired as well. and we have not heard of anything as of yet. I had ordered notes, but they don't tell you much. I am now visiting him in India. I was going to contact Delhi immigration but I am not sure if I should do that now or wait till my processing time is done. which will be in February. please some one do advise me.

I am in same situation. I don't know what best thing to do! I'm in Delhi now. Should try to contact or not?!? Any help or suggestions would be useful.

shivshaz i'm exactly in the same boat as you. i'm Sep applicant too and my first notes said interview recommended and nothing happening. i think it's cuz they are doing June applicants currently for the interview letters so we are yet to hear anything atleast for 2 more months. so may be we will get interview letters end of Jan/ Feb? another thing you can do is apply for notes again and see where your file is at..that's what i have done. i'm expecting them end of this month to see if any progress has been made on my file since the last one.

Hello, Same here, OCT applicant, IN process since August 2015, Medicals expired same time. Notes shows Interview Waived, no news after this!

Hi, we havent recieved remed requests till date! MP yet to give me an appointment, said office is not set up yet, not sure whats going on with this paper work delay, lets hope for the best ! tnx

We are waiting as well. We sent Oct 28th and got re-meds Sept 23rd 2015. The MP said they will do an inquiry so fingers crossed..

Hi one of my friend is Sept Applicant too and interview is recommended as per the notes, my friend contacted local MP and MP updated her that she will get a interview letter by end of Jan 2016. So hopefully applicants waiting for interview will get letters in Jan 2016.

Maybe because I currently am on a study permit here in Canada. I had chosen outland (as it is faster) and expected my file to be forwarded to New Delhi (India) office.

Any idea as to how much time the OTTAWA office is currently taking (the website shows 17 months but it's normally way less for straight forward genuine marital cases). Have there been similar cases in this thread earlier?

(We received your application for permanent residence on November 12, 2013.We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on January 15, 2014.We started processing your application on January 3, 2014.Medical results have been received.We sent you a letter on December 22, 2014. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.Interview scheduled for February 4, 2015.)
Re Medical was submitted on 28 August. Police clearance on 18 September. My file status changed to DM on 2 November. It is the 7th week go to DM and am still waiting for PPR.
