As you know that for 2014 applicants (and some Dec 2013 applicants), NDVO has not asked for PPR. Once such applicant is 'april999' from the 2013 forum and he/she have just had 'DM' on the application. We should keep a close eye on that applicant to see when PPR comes. I think the same will then apply to all our applications. I wanted to let you all know this.

april999's timeline is:
application received - dec 03
sponsorship approval - dec 28
file sent to delhi - jan 07
in process - july 31
dm - aug 8
passport request - still waiting

yeah pamyeb,

new trend seems to be that NDVO are sending PPR only after DM... that's good actually... lets see when april999 actually gets the PPR....
will be so happy when i finally see a 2014 applicant getting IP/DM.....

Also I checked trackitt.com where person applied on Dec 19 has got a passport request...

I have a question on the Medical expiry .My wife had initially got her Medicals done on Jan 2014 ,but we could submit the papers only by May 2014.
She couldn't complete the X-ray test during jan as she was carrying and had completed it on July2014 . Will the Medical expiry calculated from Jan 2014 or July 2014.

Most probably Jan 2014. I think 1 year validity is from the time test is taken.

Hi Guys

My wife had traveled overseas after her application was submitted. . Do I need to update CiC about her 2 week holiday? Given the trend she might be getting her in process soon so I am not sure if I should send this information after they request for passport or send it in right away. Can anyone please confirm?
