Hi I sent my file on November 27 2014 and CIC got it on Dec 2nd 2014. Got file # on Feb 14th 2015 and SA on March 17th 2015. Later on April 16th 2015 got email from New Delhi CIC Visa Office as they have got the file and to pay the Landing fee and also PCC if not submitted. My wife called CIC as she is on visit visa for couple of months with me in Canada. They said they have got the payment and the PCC along with the file and nothing to be submitted as of now. Thats what they have on their end, waiting to hear from NDVO of any updates on the file. Waiting waiting and waiting for them to update something on the file. It still show received file on Dec 02 2014 on the CIC site as of now. Please update anything else that you have known about which month files is NDVO processing in India as of today ?

Sounds very unfair that NDVO is skipping files in interview queue.
On a positive note, what if interview is waived for u guys. Hence no interview letter. Hope u get good news in notes.

You can check the spreadsheet to understand which month NDVO is working on. Link is in my signature. From the updates we get in this forum we cant say anything conclusively anymore. We will not be surprised if 2015 starts next month.
It almost looks like NDVO touches few files each month to give a false impression that they have reached the end of 2014. May be they have internal targets.
In general, the trend was to wait for atleast 8 months before checking ecas for any updates. Unless the applicant is extremely lucky.
So you can hope to hear something in July. Trust me if ur file begins processing in July u r very lucky. All the Best !

NDVO is wasting time even after giving IP. Meanwhile if medicals expire, its waste of money and time to redo it. Might as well request medicals after giving out IP.
I don't buy the idea that security and criminality takes months to complete. I have observed in different threads that even with lots of travel history, people get DM, PPR in 2 weeks after IP. How is it possible for them to finish the background checks so soon. I am sure they are not visiting every address we have provided in our 10 year history.
How much time will it take to search through a database and may be do few additional checks. And why is it that only in Delhi, the officers need more time to do the checks. ???

Good Luck Fiza. Hope at least the interview date is known or waived. Something positive for you. I did MP enquiry and it's now over 3 weeks;so far no news;even this is too slow. In the meanwhile my wife has applied for a TRV so that she can spend sometime with me here. Will keep you posted on the outcome.

For the many of you planning to get there on a TRV, don't y'all see it as a big risk as you might just have to fly back for an in-person interview with a chance of getting a date soon?

Also, what's 'notes' or apply for 'notes'? How is different from the status in eCAS and how does one apply for it?

That's the only reason why I am not applying for TRV as there is a risk of getting the interview date soon.

Can you give us an idea about if you did all application forms by your self or will help of consultant.
If you did on you own, did you provide only documentation requested by CIC or did you provide extra documentation.
If you did provide extra documentation can you please provide details. Bcus turn around time in your case seems to be vary fast.

Yes you are right.. that;s the reason i am sharing my status here.. so that every one will know that their time is coming soon as well... That's it.. Even i was surprised when i checked my ecas status.. and just got excited and posted... God bless you.. And best of luck for every body...

ny update anyone?? canadarocks any update?

Nope but I did MP inquiry yesterday, and his assistant called me back today, my MP is pretty quick in responding whenever I did MP inquiry but no useful info...lol. Saying they got some kind of pcc, which we had sent like 2-3 months ago and to contact her again in 2-3 months again if I don't hear back till then. She also said remedicals looks like are valid again till 2016...
