I am checking in this https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/authenticate.do only.
But it shows "We were not able to identify you using the information you provided"

when you use the application number/file number (eg. F123456789).... Use the details of the person being sponsored to log onto ecas.....


while using the uci, which is same as the PR. CARD NUMBER (eg. 12345678) of the sponsor... use details of the sponsor to log onto ecas... this allows you to see both the sponsor an the to-be-sponsored's progress....

in the AOR2 / generic mail, which the to-be-sponsored received from NDVO after SA(sponsorship approval) viz. file transfer, you will find another 8-digit UCI on top left quadrant of that generic mail.... which pertains to the person being sponsored... while using this UCI, use details of the to-be-sponsored, to access ecas......

p.s. The file number is case sensitive..... always use capital "F"
while using any UCI, donot use "-"... enter the number as 12345678... not 1234-5678...

It happened with me too.. dont worry.. Wait for a week something. May be it takes time to generate ur info. Give it some 2-3 days. Mine was also the case, that my husband could check but i could not, and then it worked out after a few weeks.

Can anyone tell me how long did it take for them to get the AOR after mailing the application? Is there anyway to check online. I am using the trace my application link http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/my_application/status.asp?s=11
and entering the recipt number along with all my information but nothing comes up.
Should I use the receipt number with my wife's information?

Any information would be helpful.

Did you just apply ?? The reciept number doesnt work. You will have to wait and use ur UCI or File Number which you will get in your first AOR

Hi. From the time the application is received at Mississauga CIO, it should take you approx. 56 days (as per current average) to get AOR. The next step would be SA, which could take anywhere between 1-10 days. Once you get SA, the file is transferred to NDVO and you should get AOR from NDVO within 12-21 days of SA.

flying2sky...you can apply for trv only with VFS not canadian embassy.

hi divy guna..... i applied on 17 jan 2014.. and iin may 12,2014 i got sponsorship approved... till now no email from embassy.. huhhhhhhhh!! u pl keep on updating!!

my question is ,....can i apply for visitor's visa? if they refuse.. will it effect my PR application? my real brother sisters are Canadian Pr's.. parents used to go there.. but my agent is sayin that ur application is on last stage (already been 7 months) so no need to apply for visitor visa as it may effect ur PR...plz suggest me?

yeah ur agent is right ndvo almost done oct13 applicants even nov applicants r IP anytym dey ask for ur passport its already passed 7mnths i suggest u dat jahan itna waitt kiya 2-3 mnths or bs i think in d end of aug dey will pic up jan2014 apllicantions so keep patience nd jst hope for best we cant predict ndvo dey do anything anytime kuj n keh skte may u'll get PPR dis week so jst waitt nd baki as u wish
