OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG. My hubby's passport is couriered back from NDVO after stamping VISA. WOW!! Wait is almost going to over. Hopefully he will get it on Monday. So happy.

By hand they will never accept unless your medical expiring soon or any special requests they will call and tell the applicant to come personally and visa stamping will be done on the same date...

If you do not have VFS close to your city then you can prefer Blue Dart or DHL or any registered courier services...

i sent my passport through blue dart on 7th of feb and passport deliver there on 8th feb.

i sent my passport through blue dart on 7th of feb and passport deliver there on 8th feb.
do u have any idea how long does it take to get passport back?

actually i m not getting the tracking number, u all r talking about.. there is only a one tracking number which is provided by blue dart and it is showing that passport deliver there on 8th jan.
can u pls tell me is there any other tracking number?

Many congrats. ..one more status will appear at the end of the line that ready for collection...I think Monday you check it again before you visit

We never got any status like ready for pick up. Just wait for the sms that it has been dispatched to the local VFS and then next day go pic it up, that's how it works in most cases.

As you sent it via blue dart you won't have tracking number to get the pp back all you can do is wait. That's why we always say send your PP through VFS so that you can track it and it is safe to get it back as well.

So i called CIC and the very generous lady provided me with my husband's UCI# that has been generated and that the file is in New Delhi..
Guys does this mean should I still worry about AOR2?
