Guys: Anyone submitted their Passport to VFS jalandhar, If yes, Please tell me how long it takes to get back.

ok Naonidh, Thanks dude. so this week my hubby will receive his passport back. But I have one more question. He is going for wedding tomorrow. will be back on coming Monday. If VFS got his passport back during these day adfn send him request to pick up. Can he pick 2-3 days later?

No not yet..They gave us a tracking number and it still says is under process....its been 4 days so i think still have time....

Congrats to all who got IP, DM, PPR.
My status changed to DM now. Look like they updated ECAS.
And Passport status is: fwded to chandigarh VFS from JAlandhar VFS.
And One question:So far, we received only one msg from VFS, when we get sms from VFS. Did they alert us for single single step or Only for dispatch and delivered time.

Pehla ta badhiyaan thvanu PPR lai... and yes if you don't pick up pp they call you and ask you to pick it up. My wife got the sms on Friday that her pp is in Jalandhar but she didn't go there and then got a call on following Monday saying your pp is here you didn't come so do you want us to courier it to you and you wanna come collect it? so next day on Tuesday my wife went there and collected the pp.

So don't worry they will sms you first and then call you to collect it.

My wife got the sms on Friday that her pp is in Jalandhar but she didn't go there and then got a call on following Monday saying your pp is here you didn't come so do you want us to courier it to you and you wanna come collect it? so next day on Tuesday my wife went there and collected the pp.

So don't worry they will sms you first and then call you to collect it.

He went to VFS Jalandhar, Its 10 mins drive from my in laws home to VFS office. So, He submitted there then they transferred to chandigarh and I guess then chandigarh VFS will transfer to delhi. If you have any plan to go to chandigarh, so better to submit your passport chandigarh, otherwise good in Jalandhar as well. Once you are going to submit you passport, carry two passport size photo, printout on your passport request and fill all details and 1100 rs.

I agree But he will not receive his passport tomorrow or day after tomorrow. and its long commute for him to come back from wedding to pick up his passport. From wedding he will be back on sunday, and monday he can pick up his passport. its just one or two days delay not more than that.
