just wondering if spouse traveling to Canada for first time needs to carry any money like other new immigrants have to?????

there no issue to carry 10th cad dollar into your pocket. You need to pay custom after and don't show whole amount to immigration guys.

Congrats to all who got IP, DM, PPR.
My status changed to DM now. Look like they updated ECAS.
And Passport status is: fwded to chandigarh VFS from JAlandhar VFS.
And One question:So far, we received only one msg from VFS, when we get sms from VFS. Did they alert us for single single step or Only for dispatch and delivered time.

No not yet..They gave us a tracking number and it still says is under process....its been 4 days so i think still have time....

Any idea when they will get to the August files based on average processing times from this forum? I am an August 28th Applicant.

Omg omg omg just checked my status it's IP from feb 06, 2015 now. I checked it a couple of hours ago and it was still AR omg so excited now!!!!

No not yet..They gave us a tracking number and it still says is under process....its been 4 days so i think still have time....

yes dude, take out saturday sunday from them. So its 3rd day today. hopefully this week we will get it back.
