I had applied for my wife's sponsorship to Canada and it's been a waiting game since almost 10 months. Just wondering if any body else (other than Fiza) with the same kind of time line below:

Visa office: NDVO
Medicals done: 23rd Feb 2014
Application received: 1st April 2014
Sponsorship approved and file transferred to NDVO: 3rd June 2014
Certain additional documents requested: 15th September 2014
Documents sent: 25th September 2014
Status on website: Application Received(for my wife)

Since then on it's becoming a bloody waiting game and I see that people who applied in June/July are getting their visas dispatched but not my wife. Wondering if any one has any idea about this godforsaken visa office. Just getting frustrated and putting my life as well as my wife's on hold. Her medicals also will expire in 2 weeks time and yet these # @ $holes are sitting on their asses. Seems like they are just being paid a lot for no work.

Exactly a week ago applied for AITP- case status request. Realistically how long does it take to hear from this department in regards to AITP. Any idea?

Any updates on your file so far...Did you get the Notes yet??

Nothing Anurag.......I am sending ndvo email regarding my second visit. Hopefully that might speed up process.

Just call NDVO to find out why I havenot received PPR nearly after a month of DM, apparently they can not tell anything over the phone, only way to find out is via email which I did a week ago no response from either way, DISGUSTED with NDVO

Hi guys can be deposit our passport directly to Delhi visa office by hand or we have to use VFS and If I submit after 15 days is it any problem in that as I am Travelling Back to India soon. ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ???

yes, i am confused now because under eligibility it says passed and the officer noted that marriage is genuine then at the bottom it says, RFV...this is confusing me now ??? ??? ???

Hey no need to worry. Its a good sign. I have a question did u applied electronic notes or physical notes.

No news yet on our application. Application received on 30th June but it still says AR. I have no idea when are they even going to start working on our application. we are getting frustated now. i get a feeling that because my wife hold a Nepal Passport & i am an Indian,they have probably put it on the side- Just a thought ???

What do you guys feel??

We both are indians still same case... fed up with such a nonsense approach of NDVO. Like somepeople are waiting since Jan also. They should have a better way to process files like some other countries...
