What form are you talking about to file out to update the file?

What form you talking about Calgariandoll?? I too renewed my PP and sent an attested copy to NDVO last week. I too am July applicant and would not like my processing time to increase.

Let us know anywhere else we need to update as i dont find anything on the website.

I was told to fill out the generic form again with the new passport information and leave everything else the same as the old form because I guess they need the generated codes that we get after validating the form. And send a copy of passport

I was also told to fill out the questioner again since I am living with my husband in India since November to let them know
And send a cover letter
I don't know if it will delay your file or not if you dont resend the forms but that's what I was told to do by an immigration lawyer

I had applied for my wife's sponsorship to Canada and it's been a waiting game since almost 10 months. Just wondering if any body else (other than Fiza) with the same kind of time line below:

Visa office: NDVO
Medicals done: 23rd Feb 2014
Application received: 1st April 2014
Sponsorship approved and file transferred to NDVO: 3rd June 2014
Certain additional documents requested: 15th September 2014
Documents sent: 25th September 2014
Status on website: Application Received(for my wife)

Since then on it's becoming a bloody waiting game and I see that people who applied in June/July are getting their visas dispatched but not my wife. Wondering if any one has any idea about this godforsaken visa office. Just getting frustrated and putting my life as well as my wife's on hold. Her medicals also will expire in 2 weeks time and yet these # @ $holes are sitting on their asses. Seems like they are just being paid a lot for no work.

Exactly a week ago applied for AITP- case status request. Realistically how long does it take to hear from this department in regards to AITP. Any idea?

that's good news Kamila. but u r IP from Jan 15. that means even if one gets IP status interview is not totally ruled out. I am confused. Would somebody pls clarify?

Stop worrying. Interview is waived. Think! Why would they waive the interview? They are saying there is no need for you to go for interview OBVIOUSLY that's positive. They would only do that if they feel its a genuine case. The hanging sword over your head is gone now.

Also, this might help......RFV means READY FOR VISA so just count your blessing and be great full and just have patience.

No, why do I need to renew my passport? its not expired yet even same for my hubby. yes I renewed my passport long time back it wont take so long it took me 20 days
