Does anyone have any idea how long will it take for interview call? It isn't mentioned on notes.....other than interview recommended

Hi All,

I submitted my spouse Passport at Canada Visa Application Centre, Hyderabad on Jan 29, to forward it to Delhi Visa office for stamping.

I am flying back to Canada on Feb 9, I even bought the ticket for my Spouse for the same flight.

I e-mailed to Info.canada @ vfshelpline.com and explained about my current situation, I got an auto-reply stating that they will respond to my e-mail with in 2 working days.

I checked the status of PP on line through vfsglobal.ca portal and I see the following status:

my Visa application, tracking ID No.XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX is being processed at the Canada Visa Office, NEW DELHI.To know more, please call VAC helpline number or visit VAC website.

Please kindly advise what other options I have at the moment in trying to get my spouse passport back before Feb 9??

Are there any helplines where I can talk to someone about this??

Congratulations... You can now relax for next 3-4 months.. Usually on average, i have noticed that it takes 110 to 120 days to get to the next stage.

Fiza, actually look at this in positive way. If they say you have interview, that mean atleast they went through your file and you will soon hear something back. I heard usually they give you VISA right after the interview.. So just stay positive and go through some of interview questions posted in excel sheet
