Ok...so that's an interview call and not a passport request, it looks more like an inquiry.
(but hope things speed up)
We should see passport requests that's more important, keep a track on that. ???

You are Right and I believe Interview Call should not come, since it delays the process or they have doubt about the relationship.

Rest No idea, whats their Thought Process

sorry file tranfer was on feb 20th. we are checking in E-CAS

Hi Myrah! [flash=200,200]

We got married in 23 Jan 2014 and my husband is a PR of Canada. He filed a visa application for me on 16 June 2014, & we didn't got any acknowledgement from CIC , saying that they received our application as we can see the file is delivered to them. Its been a month now .. We sure that dox are correctly submitted.

So I just wanted to understood how long this process takes place, etc. :(... I hope u will advice me soon on this. As u understand its being hard to live without spouse.

Please do the needful.

Thanks
Sheena

Hi Sheena,

According to the current timeline it's taking 55 days from the day you filed your application to get the confirmation (AOR). So you have to wait a bit more. Your application is in queue . :)
Check this link for more information: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/perm-fc.asp

The online status showing "In process" for the past 3 months (From march 31st) .There is no further updates after march 31st 2014 :(

This is super strange, you and I share the same timeline, but I can't see 'In process' for me. Are you sure it's showing in process under 'Applicant's' status and not sponsors? Sorry to ask dumb ques, but this is quiet strange.

thank you so much everyone... for your replies.... sponsorship application status - in process.... pr app status - app received.... guys i am really scared... if it takes 13 months that screws up my entire timeline.... my god... we both are doctors and are planning to take the exams here... so god help me if it takes 13 months... the 3.5 months timeline for step 1 also surprised me... but the processing time just went from 30 days to 55 days during may-june... that might have caused the delay i guess....

Hi JBedi ,

Thanks a lot for your prompt response on my ques. Just help me knowing one thing more usually wat will be the max time for them to process a spouse file in order?

Like can i expect any time limitation ..... ?

As far as I think he must be talking about sponsor's tab not under applicant. If this is case it meant they have started processing his file.

I know it's really damn hard to live this way ;'(. I have quitted my job viewing my three months notice period and they haven't started anything yet for 2014. Just praying everyday to end this separation soon.
