What does registry mean? And what the hell is the difference between security and criminality...and its been 17 months and they still haven't done all this ??

registry means where they kept our files like a safe or may b a room where they kept all files., i think m not wrong..

Criminality and security two different check in criminality they check our police clearance where we stay in past in security they check we are not terrorists or any threats to Canada this check took time 6 months to one year it's called background check this mostly happen with who have travel history

this is totally unfair by ndvo July 2014 applicants getting there visa and you are still waiting for your interview latter I don't know how they work now I am totally fed up with these government no hope and no love left for Canada just wanna join my wife

yeah bubby its 13th month for my file still waiting for my letter i saw interview cases everyone got dere letter in 11 or 12th month bttt god knows wen i'll gt my letter it very depressing m feeling low nwdays koi updates n a

Srsly wtf wat are they doing with our files..I am still on ar mr and it's been 15 months.i thought mines was a straight forward case but these so called officers sitting on our files made me think otherwise..

In one week,my application will also cross 15 mnth ,same here chatwant ,i also thought my file was a straight forward case,still ecas showing AR,medicals expired on oct 26th 2014,passport with NDVO for the past one year.Is there some way that we can wake up this NDVO officers. ???

I believe since they cannot change the processing times until may 2015,v can still hope that atlst they clear the files that are about to cross 16mnths in next 2 mnths.But seeing files as old as 17,18 ,22 months,i am nt able to completely believe the NDVO. :-\

Applicants making an Inland application (i.e. while residing in Canada) for permanent immigration to Canada may now be issued open work permits before the ‘approval in principle' decision has been made on their application.

It's been 19 months for my file its soooo depressing and inhumane. They have no heart at all.
In process since September 2014.
