I applied for my mother in law visitor visa on 29th jan from VFS Chandigarh now the staus is changed to:-

what does this mean did she got visa and where can I track passport there is no tracking number given

Can NDVO keep anyone's passport for more than a year?
Is it legal by Law, since I submitted my passport in Dec. 2013.

yes dese lazy morons keep it as long as they want...
they keep my for 14 months after 14 months luckily I see my pp again. .

I didn't fully sure whether she received visa or not bcoz dere is nothing mention about it but they dispatch the pp..so I hope u will received it in few days. ..

its depend on which courier service they send pp...apart from indian postal services...every courier service is fast like blue dart,,vfs etc

now I give some advice here

those who are in IP dat means there interview is waived or sooner or later they sure got ur visa...so why waste ur time every day...dere are lots of things who waiting for u guys here like driving license, , job etc
so main thing is driving license...now u guys hv time once u reached here then trust me u miss this free time. ..
license take lots of urs time so I suggest u guys to practice ur knowledge test..so when u reached here just passed it or start practice ur road test...
just go to Canada website n see the knowledge test...

Can anyone tell me what is the procedure for this? My marriage certificate was issued in India.

If you want to change your name from any document in Canada then you need legal name change certificate so If you are living in Ontario then you call ServiceOntario helpline and ask for legal name change form. They can send the form at your address, fill the form and attach your marriage certificate along with this form and this whole process take 6-8 weeks and after that they will send you name change certificate.

hi dear u have to go service canada office in ur town. take ur marriage certificate with u. same day they give u receipt which they mention ur change name.they show that ur doctor ,bank ect. its very easy..

M totaly fed up now and loosing hopes. Now a days ndvo even didnt giving reply to case specific enquiry. I wrote 2 emails in last 20days but i think they didnt even read any. What to do how to tell them that we pending 2013applicants are waiting like fools. After every two hour chkng ecas but nothing change.. I even have no travell history how can they ruin our lyfs.. Plz ndvo do somethng gud for us.

hi i saw hare some our senior r send emails to ndvo they dont reply them.. they r stupid..they will always reply mp or lawyer..u can try with mp them might be u can get good news.. travel history not make much different u just need pcc.

Guys for knowledge test for driving ....

The best way to pratice is Download icbc knowledge test app. iphone users ....well its for those ppl who are coming to bc. it helps as they have 90% same answers/
so just download and start praticing

if you will call to VFS helpline to ask tracking number they will say it will take 2 business day to update it but before this you will received your passport.
