Status changed to IP on 14th January 2015

No I did not. Bytheway what is MP and how to contact.

MP is a member of parliament who can contact the immigration to get notes and access to the file and get status.

You will contact them directly

My file is in process since June 30, 2014 its been more than 6 months, remedical was done Oct 21, 2014. File is in background investigation i dont know how long would that take. Sooo tired to waiting...

I think you should take from Oct 21st as the date since there was the update to the file (medicals)

Oct. 2013 Applicant and end of the 16 months and still waiting...............
Application Received- Octo. 1, 2013
Sponsorship approval- Nov. 25, 2013
Passport request- Nov. 27, 2013
Medical Done - Dec. 15, 2013
Remedical Done - Dec. 18, 2014
IP since 16 Dec 2014.
Could you please answer few questions
1.Why they are taking too much time to make final decision.
2. How they can keep her passport for more than a year.
3. How much time more....................

I am an oct 2013 applicant too. husband in india. I can totally understand yr frustration cause we are going through it ourselves.... Unfortunately i dont think any one else can answer the 3 q u posted, cause frankly no one knows except the CIC. And God help me if I ever understand how they work. we have been ip since sept 20 ,2014 and nothing...

so all we can do is keep our sanity or atleast try to and keep our fingers crossed. The only thing that may help u alleviate some of the mystery is by applying for notes or doing an MP enquiry.

hi dear ndvo can do anything with our life...we cant do anything...just wait...
but u dont worry ur visa on the corner after dm they would not take long so start ur packing

Thanks for your help. No, all they asked was for a remedical. My husband submitted it in december.

Did you do your MP inquiry or applied for notes? How much time MP inquiry is going to take?
