Well my notes says everything has passed! i.e criminality, eligibility, re medica, but for security it says not started!! and its already been like 18 months since i applied first! so i don't know how much longer i have to wait!
The notes didn't mention NOTHING else just security not started! and I did live in another country for 17 years and then i got a job transfer to India so came and been living here for 6 years. Do You thinks it's the travel history that's taking time??? please let me know anything you may think. thanks

17years of living outside of India huh. I am sure you have submitted your PCC(s) from the countries you lived..some of the forum members did run into issues for not having submitted. What were the visa officers comments on the next step?
Security: To my understanding is how they run a error check on the application once they have completed it. It may not mean much.
From the past posts it appears to be insignificant.

After passing medicals and paying the Right of Permanent Residence fee (RPRF)
The normal reasons for delays after medical/RPRF are Canadian Security and Intelligence Service
(CSIS) security checks or processing errors. The CAIPS file will indicate if security checks have
been completed, and what other steps are outstanding if any.

My case has been stuck on background check as well! and for the past 8 months I have been doing MP enquiry every two months and all they say is your application is in final stage review waiting for background check results! this the same reply i have been getting for 8 months now!! like HOW LONG IS THIS GONNA TAKE!!!! May god shower DM on 2013 applicants during this month!! so we can all be with our hubbies for the new year!!

Oh, where did you live? would you mind sharing? It is quite possible to have different timelines for different countries.

Thank you for the GCMS NOTES REVIEW! and yes of course I submitted a PCC. for my GCMS notes everything is passed waiting for security. Every time I do an enquiry all i get is awaiting results of background check and your file is in last stage review!

The only comment I got from the visa officer is interview waived Marriage is geniune and also it says "NO DETAILS ON PA PHOTOS" AND CSC DATE NOT ENTERED" do you have any idea what this means?? please let me know thank you. Other then what I mentioned above visa officer didn't make any other notes for me.

The acronym (CSC) may not mean much or it could be Canadian Security Clearance. Really at this point for you my guess is your security clearance from the country you lived before..
Where were you living for 17yrs..may be a clearance from that country is taking time?

don't worry sometimes its take 15 days so relax. ..
just make sure one time to ur local postman dat he delivers ur passport on right place. ..

hello frnds. First of all congrats to all who got DM and visas... I am in a trouble plz help me. Yesterday night i send cse to ndvo, last tym when i sent cse at that tym with in a hour i got conformation email. But this tym its more thn 24hrs n i didnt get any conformation email. Is ths normal? M in tensn by mistake email galat toh type nai ho gya na jo conformation email nai aai..
