First of all Congratulations to all members here who happily got their PR. And the ones who are still waiting, i really wish you guys all d best n hope, n wish you guys get it soon.
I dont know how many members are active on this who got their pr. but i really have one complicated situation and as this is 2013 thread, i thought someone might have my type of case of know someone with similar situation.
we discovered a big problem for which we don't see/know any solution and worried
( any person who knows this situation or anyone with this situation, your feedback and help is much much needed please.
I came to India on 29th sept '14 and we had engagement and ring ceremony on 3 oct '14 .. now to get the court mrg certificate, we have to wait for a month or something, but because of time limits and i had to come back soon, we looked for another way. we found out that if we do marriage in arya samaj and get their certificate, we can register it in court rightaway. so after all the guests left n stuff, we did aryasamaj mrg and court marriage registration on same day which is 10th. Now my ceremony date and all photos are from 3rd, but our court marriage certificate it mentions arya samaj location and date which is 10th. n certificate itself is for 10th. I had no idea about all this when i came, otherwise i would have mentioned them about ceremony wala date and location. also everything was to be done on that same day, i completely forgot about clicking any pics. my sisterin law and my inlaws were present there and my inlaws signed as witnesses. so now we have this confusion as to what to mention in mrg date and how to deal with situation as mrg certificate mentions about aryasamaj location n date. really really confused and dont know how to deal with this.
I really respect everybody's help here..n would be happy to get views, but i request if someone personally knows this situation or been thru this, just specify it please. Thank you very much. and looking forward to prepare file asap.
