Yes, that was me. we knew our medicals expired, so we did remeds before getting any request from ND.

so it means after emedical your status never changed to medical results hv been received. ..
It changed after your remedical. ..

but now I hv one confusion in ur notes its mention dat they received ur first medical. ..?

I asked you earlier bcoz lots of people waiting for remedical letter if this possible to do remedical without letter then dats a gud news...

How much is average processing time for spouse immigration (if not any strike in canada embassy) if all documents, forms are complete ?

yes I m from jalandhar. ..
officially its 15 months process. ..but we hv 2 examples here 2013 & 2014 forum. ..
so if ur medical still valid then you will got ur visa 7 to 9 months...but if unfortunatly like us if ur medical expires then you should wait for more then 13 months. ..

I have done MP inquiry..they said they will ask for re medical and finger prints..but nothing done about it yet. I emailed them also and as expected from NVDO no reply ... Whats the point of applying for notes..i guess it will tell me the same that the mp told me ...
Thanks for yr suggestions though and i just wish and pray that this diwali actually does get some light into all our lives and our visas are done soon

as per pasi's comment if ur passport is with you then why not u done remedical on ur own behalf. ..

notes tell u dat whts current status of ur file...security, , criminality started or not...

Yes i got it on this 20th and its valid in Canada for 6 months. See i told you not to apply at that time when you got IP as you never know when DM will come. So i applied after i got DM. YOU DO THE SAME. Any how your visa is just round the corner!!

happy diwali everyone so I have some good news.I received gcms notes and interview was waived. thank god! lol the comments were too funny though. sponsor and applicant are incompatible in every aspect culture, upbringing, religion etc but they still believe us to be genuine I guess the smooching pictures helped lol. only thing is for the third time they updated the email address wrong even though in the notes there is a copy of an email we sent with the right one. still ip since August 2nd. waiting and waiting

Mp called hubby yesterday and told him that my visa has been stamped, case approved and in a week's time i should be getting my landing papers and all... We are so excited and happy after hearing this news... ;D so here goes my OMG moment

It is always possible to do remeds without letter from visa office. I know that for sure. Only thing is they will ask to see your passport. If you don't have it, i am not sure what you can do.. or how people are doing remeds after submitting their passport.. (and when they get the letter to do it).

Hi, Driving licence is the most important thing in the beginning to start your life in Canada . If you have an Indian license , go to your local RTO office and get the NOC certificate , in which it should state that your license has been issued on so and so date as per their record. They do have the format about this NOC certificate. After having this NOC letter it will help you allot in Canada. You can directly go for the road test ( depends in which province you are going to reside )
Take a letter of your driving experience (should be more than 24 months atleast) from your local RTO. Then once you reach Canada, you have to give written test (G1) which is easy to pass and then straight test for full driving licence (G licence) .Your in between test (G2) gets waived off if you show them the letter of experience from INDIA. So it saves you time and a test as well otherwise first G1, then G2 and wait for 1 year to give G test.

Once you will go to the office you have to write a letter regarding the NOC. There are many small khokes outside from where you can get the printout of the performa of the application. You have give your driving license photo copy. thats it. No other requirement.If you will show this letter to ICBC in BC then you can directly appear in class 5 road test rather appearing the class 7 road test. But before that you have to appear the written exam after that you can go for class 5 road test. Otherwise you have to wait at least one year to appear in class 5 road test.. Written exam is quite easier there. As you have said you have 5 years of driving experience in India ,this letter will definitely help you.

so this is the whole information. ..when I posted this thing on page 3119 then lots of forum members give me this info I hope it will help you...

so the thing is in ur notes no information regarding first medical. ..so maybe dats y they accept ur remedical...

I think ur emedical never reached in ndvo dats y ur status never updated to medical received. ..it means there is still doubt to do remedical without a letter. ..

we done remedical without passports bcoz we hv letter and we just show photocopy of passport. ..and both things help us to do remedical. .
