Why a normal applicant with medical validity takes 7 days for background check after IP to DM and a remedical applicant takes 60 to 90 days for background check when everyone do remedical in span of just 7 days after receiving their email. How unfair it is.

I know it's totally unfair. Do not worry just have faith in God and soon he shall reward all of us with companionship with our partners in no time..

I have done MP enquiry and he said it sounds they start the process in January 2015. I got shocked.. took out all my frustration on MP after reading his reply. I am completely out of my mind now. Since july my file is in process after remedical. It seems their quota for 2014 intake is over now.

hey dear just calm Down....these MP's didn't know about anything. ..

one of my fellow august applicant's MP said dat her file is pending for initial review. ..it means she didn't hv any scope for few months. ..but you know what she got her visa within 10 days. ..
so all dese MP's are duffers. ...so don't fully trust on them...

like we see in august now also they will clear remaining remedical applicants soon. ..

Actually your MP doesn't want you to disturb him till JANUARY 2015. He's just saying what already written on CIC website, 15 months. Just count 15 months from the day your file received by NDVO, it may be Jan 15.

In past no one did MP enquiry bcoz the process complete within 3 months. ..but now they increased process so long that people bother MP's all the time dats y they give everyone genetic answers...

its pretty normal. ..lots of 2013 applicant's medical never updated....but for few resources they know dat ndvo received dere medical but forget to update in ecas....
notes arrived in 30 days. ..my last 2 notes arrived exactly 30th day...

the only positive thing is that it wont expire in a week due to my hubby having to get treatment for TB. He was only able to send the final report in July with a new xray and proof of finalizing the treatment.

then don't worry like other remedical applicants you will also hear gud news soon. ..just hang in dere for few days. ..

don't worry about Ecase status one of my friend status goes straight AR to DM so don't worry even in mine to they shown AR but they send me email that they are doing background check

if you had verified from the hospital that medical results have been sent then it does not matter if the ecas says nothing about medicals....in few cases ecas was showing 'application received' and notes showing 'nothing started' until the end (my case is one example where it showed 'medical received' and 'application received' for 11 months until after the interview and remedicals sent, it changed to 'in process'). Ecas is often not reliable. For notes it takes 30 days to receive one but I am not sure if they increased it to 50 days.

according to forum's senior member if application status shows IP than there will be no interview.
IP means they started processing of file so without processing/reviewing how can we says there will be no interview.
at which stage they decide for interview ?

I apply 23 feb 2012 then I have interview 10 sep 2013 on my interview they don't make any decision I passed the interview but that time I haven't austrian Pcc where I stay illegal so visa officer force my wife to withdraw the file otherwise he will refuse my application he says apply again with all document until that we will review your husband because we have some doubt on him so we decide to withdrawn and we apply again in oct 15 2013 I have no Ecase nothing it still shown AR but our lawyer get email last month where that write they are doing background check and then we apply for gcms not maybe next week we will get still I don't believe on them

I want to share my medical exp. I got this done at Fortis Banglore. I had done my medical on 1st Oct 2013 and it was not updated on ecas untill last month. I went last month in hospital and asked the rep to confirm me that my medical is sent or not. To my utter shock, she said nothing is visible on her system about me and she made call to NDVO folks and they asked her to re-upload my medical. And after that only she uploaded it last month and my medical received status was shown on ecas.

So for all those for whom medical is not updated on ecas, just double confirm from hospital that they had sent the medical to NDVO and have them get confirmation from NDVO. Also you can tell them reason you are asking because, your online ecas is not updated. Let them call NDVO to double confirm it.

at the initial stage a junior level officer looks at the file and recommends interview or no interview..then it moves to second level where most of the time they accept junior level officer's assessment...so far in this forum people whose status changed to 'in process' have not been asked to appear for interview (I maybe wrong since there are so many members in this forum)...outside this forum people might have had interview even though ecas states 'in process'

Hi senior members,

Can you please tell me how many 2013 applicants are stuck on IP? And can anyone tell me after how much time if your status stays IP should you apply for GCMS notes? A lot of 2014 applicants are still stuck on IP. I wonder wth these NDVO officers are doing. Why dont they clear the pending cases.
