Hi All,

Partial OMG Moment for us...
I am a Nov 25th Applicant got IP on 4th Aug and my wife received a call today from embassy and was asked if she can travel by 30th Sep since Medicals will expire by then and mentioned by end of this month she will receive passport.

Thanks all for your support so far....

Waiting for visa.... for final OMG moment....

Can u please share your timeline also ?

What is considered 13 Months as per NDVO's estimated timelines?
Is it counted from when the initial application was submitted, i.e.,to Mississauga or when the file actually reaches New Delhi?

Hi, its counted from the day it reaches New Delhi.

its confusing actually my lawyer said it starts when the file reaches new delhi and my MP said it starts when application is received.

GUYS, WHO HAVE'NT GOT THEIR PPR YET WOULD GET A CALL FROM NDVO TO SUBMIT IT IN THE END...luv 71, did ur husband submit ppt at vfs, new delhi or somewhere else?

I think my visa lost the way...
I was already apply 2 notes...now third one maybe this week apply again. ..

its always confusing...just count the days what ur ecas says when they received ur application...so you are august applicant then ur 12 months already completed 13th start...

That's right. As per CIC.gc.ca "The tables below indicate application processing times at Canadian visa offices once Step 1 has been completed." and step one is First AOR Ref: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/perm/fc-spouses.asp

MPs say they will help you 13 months from your initial application date. So may be MPs are confused, and I'd say let them stay that way

my lawyer (she knows everything about nothing) said it is 13 months from the date the sponsor's application is approved and sent to ND...

I called my MP today and as I was venting out my frustrations, sayin this is the 13th month blah blah blah..he goes "But you are still on your 11th month, you should hear something pretty soon and your time starts ticking from the time it reaches NDVO"

lol i think he was already build his home. ..with my taxes he lives his life luxurious and sitting on my file for 12 months. ..this makes my life miserable the whole passing day...
