Hello Everyone

I hope everyone is doing great and getting lots of good news, I am in India these days for a month to enjoy quality time with my family and wifey

went to shirdi and right now in goa and then will go back to delhi, prayed for everyone.

My wife also got IP

We started processing MINKI DUA's application on August 2, 2014.

Congratulations Abhishek. But i was expecting this news with OMG. Wishing you a speedy visa.

Hello experienced members,
We have got DM on 2nd August and my spouse is Oct applicant. They have never asked me for the passport previously and the medical will expire on 5th sept. Now I am not sure if they will ask for passport and give the Visa before the medical expiration or they will extend the date of expiration? Please everyone reply because Iam very worried since my flight to go back to Canada is on 4th September too. I would like to go with my spouse hopefully .

it takes one week to 10 days to ask for passport..then they will fix the visa and send it you before the end of this month...

Am new to this forum but from time to time i go through the valuable posts of the experienced members. I appreciate all the members for their cooperation and support towards each other.

I would like to share my timeline here:
medical done 20-10-2013
date of application received at mississauga 11-11-2013
date of sponsorship approval 07-01-2014
date of file transfer at NDVO 19-11-2013
date of passport request 14-01-2014
date of ADR 29-07-2014

As, this is our second marriage, they asked my sponsor's divorce petition. They received the same by 05-08-2014.
Now, what do you guys think will be next. How much more time i need to keep my patience.

Moreover, am not in that much hurry bcoz i got 1.5month old baby and whose documents has already been submitted with NDVO last month.

I got A DR June 26 and said they will be taking decession within 30 days I sent it right away but my status still says application received. .

Hello there,

I have been waiting for my passport since last 8 months now. I have been checking the immigration website regularly and it's the same ( medical reports received )

My wife has applied for me as a spouse visa and I wanted to know the approx wait time for the passport to arrive.

It was sent on dec 24th and received on dec 26th 2013 by the Delhi immigration office.

Now when I checked It yesterday it says that medical reports have been received.

What will be the next step and when can I expect my passport so I can travel.

Why do they ask for passports n keep them ? plus which are the office that they call you for interview ...? i thought they did it only in delhi

it was a twin wedding, they asked to clarify about the other couple and some more wedding reception photos.. I submitted them also my daughter's birth certificate. .

I am Oct 24 applicant. Hope everything goes smooth atleast now.

don't get upset, its all fine, you ordered notes 1 month before and if you see in the notes they must have generated within 2-3 days when you ordered. if you had ordered after getting IP you would have seen something started or completed
that is the worst part of GCMS that they generate immediately but we get these after a month, and the day they opened your file they must have done other changes as well as they asked for remedical
so hang in there, you are just near to the finish line
