This is not acceptable.. first they change status ti in process , then reverse back to application received, and now interview. I don't know what will happen to my case, as i have not heard any thing from them since my status changed back to application received from in process. Rubbish system , though they asked me ADR AS WELL, and after dead line they changed the status to IP , then back to AR, don't understand whats going on?

My interview is on 22nd sep, my aware that they provide hindi and punjabi interpretors at Ndvo itself but i'll be hiring another interpretor from the list they have provided.. Will this postpone my interview??? Nd do i need to inform Ndvo???

it won't as you will be hiring someone outside NDVO interpreters....we hired someone from a non hindi/punjabi interpreter from the list and this did not delay the interview..you may want to send a letter just to let them know about using interpreter from the list but it is not a requirement as they already know it since you would have indicated on your application that you need a non hindi/punjabi interpreter...

hey guysss so like i mentioned before that our interview was on july 29, 2014 at chandigarh office and today we checked online and it says "IN PROCESS" is this a goood sign....(i believe it is but i need more input..)

this is how it looks now...we waited for in process for almost 14 months now!!!!

Permanent Residence
We received null Singh's application for permanent residence on June 19, 2013.

We started processing null Singh's application on July 31, 2014.

Medical results have been received.

null Singh's interview is July 29, 2014.

please give me your comments and views

next step will be asking for remedicals if your medicals expired..if not, next thing on that list will be 'A decision made has been made on xxx application. Someone will contact you.'

for punjabi and hindi, you don't need to hire anybody from the authorized interpreters list..NDVO provides you with one...

Hello experienced members,
I can not open my wife's ecas but can mine. In my ecas it says decision made for both sponsorship and permanent resident application of my spouse. Does it mean that it is decision made for both of our ecas? It says her file was in process on 30 July and decision was made when I opened the ecas (August 2nd). Considering the immediate change from in process to Decision Made is normal?

Thank you and your replies are appreciated.

I haven't mentioned anything about using an interpreter in my application. In that too i've mentioned language preference for interview ENGLISH coz at that time we really think anything about the interview. Now we are going to hire a gujarati interpreter from the list they have provided. Now do i need to inform them about this?

i think someone else in this forum had similar issue (don't remember who it was..it was while ago) and he declined to use interpreter at the time of interview...at the time of interview they will ask sponsored person if he/she needs an interpreter and once declined they will continue with the interview...if you are comfortable in conversing in English then you don't have to use one..i think what you got is a generic letter from NDVO asking to hire one if you need one (someone else can correct me if i am wrong..this generic letter goes to everyone who are slated for interview whether you mentioned you need an interpreter in your application or not)

Thanks...for your interview...id say study your application and dates...they ask this question for sure (if we reject your application what will you do?) also ask who attended the wedding and if your siblings didnt attend..why they didnt attend the wedding...why did you marry your spouse...did you marry them to go to canada...how long you been living together..wedding and ceremony dates...our was love marriage so they asked me (the sponsor) do you get along with your in laws....are your inlaws happy that their son is going to canada....tricky questions but if your marriage is genuine...you will know how to answer properly and in genuine way.
