they send you this letter bcoz as u mention ur wife moved Canada after 20 years...so in short they want all the things which prove that ur wife lives in present time in Canada. ..so if she is not working thats not a big problem. ..send all the documents like citizenship certificate,, driving license, , passport pages bcoz they want to know that which time she enter Canada and right now she is in Canada or not...
if u guys filled taxes every year so its not a problem whether she is working or not send them assessment to last years...so everythings will b alright don't panic ohk

Thnx rk Sandhu and w2e..I vl send her id and passport pages.yes she did filed her returns every year...but I think it's not much of a income plus she I'd studying the course for which s fully paid by me and vl get over in October..do u guys think they can deny my visa coz my wife has just moved to canada...can I also that her family wud be supporting me...

Good thing she filed tax returns all these years. You can print notice of assessment from cra website in the link given below in two minutes.

Notice of assessment helps, even it is null return. It shows your wife's intention to stay in Canada. She is going to school further proves that she want to improve her credentials and to get better job and live in Canada.

Next, the address proofs she can provide with drivers licence, rental contract or utility bills ( hydro, electricity, internet bills ) or bank statements. As her sponsorship is approved they wont be worrying much about your financial situation.

Thanx buddy...wat else can I submit and should I send all these thru mail or courier and shud I also send my passport along with it coz they haven't asked for it..

Then its a good sign because you will need your Passport for medical and PCC.

I was received just remedical email after that nothing else.don't know how much time they will take for DM in the past its just 1 to 6 weeks time after remedical but God knows why so much delay ..so u also done remedical. .?

According to the Operational Manual for Overseas Processing 2, section 10.3: (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/manuals/op/op02-eng.pdf) “Sponsors of dependent children and of spouses, common-law partners or conjugal Partners (unless they have dependent children who have dependent children of their own) do not have to meet financial requirements, but they do undertake to provide for the basic necessities of the sponsored applicants so that the applicants do not need social assistance.”

Therefore, she does not have to prove that she earned the minimum necessary income in order to sponsor you, but she should not be on any social assistance or welfare. In the application there is a section that asks something like "if sponsor is not living in Canada, provide proof that (s)he will be returning to Canada after the approval." If seems that your ADR is for the same purpose.

Send them more evidence than they asked for showing that she is there and planning to stay there.

Firstly, they are asking for ADR bcoz they want to be sure of the intent to settle permanently as ur wife went there after 20 yrs.... U can send a letter explaining the relevance of ur wife's course for getting a job....
Also, w2e and rk sandhu and other ppl have advised so aptly....
Ur wife can send her bank statements too....

Guys, i have something to share with u all.It may be useful for 2014 applicants. I applied for VISITOR VISA AND TODAY I GOT IT BACK WITH STATUS AS ACCEPTED FOR 10 YEARS!!!!!! Grin
So, guys, please dnt loose hope try at least once applying for visitor visa and may be ur the lucky one like me Cheesy..Although me and my husband were not very much positive abt it after getting so much negative views from ppl from the forum , we did apply.We did a lot of homework and finally we hav got it !!!!

My Husband has got a work permit visa and has started to do his
fellowship from Ottawa University from this month . I would like to
join him with my children(minors) this year (by end of Dec) . I would
like know whether i can apply for a dependent visa , if not which

yes i do have a job in India and we submitted as much docs as we could to prove that I will be back to india after certain period.I will just suggest you to be true to CIC , do not hide any info from them , m sure u will get it..
