I am in problem please help me..
I got rejected tourist visa for Canada in year 2007
In the forms i forgot to mention it while applying for immigration..
I am in dilemma now that if it will affect my application????/ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[
1. not sure if their visas will be rejected..age is against them (current conservative government wants younger people with skills, high qualifications and if possible job in Canada already prearranged). First question visa officers want to know is they are U.S. citizens what prevents them going on tourist visa to visit you and why do they need to live there...your best source would be to check parents sponsorship thread...shialra said:Hi,
I landed in calgary, canada just 5 months ago...though the sailing was not easy, but I got a job and will complete 2 months in 3 days. I wanted some advise on sponsoring parents.
My parents are US citizens (thru my brother who lives in the US) but live in india, and I would like to sponsor them for their Canadian PR. However, based on the research and reading up I have been doing since the past 3+ weeks, I am pretty much confused and need someone to knock me around a bit.
1. My Dad is 81 and mom is 74 - any chances of rejection?
2. If they are living in India, means that the application would go thru New Delhi.
3. If they apply from the US, can they stay in india while their application is being processed?
4. Would it be better to have them in Canada and apply when they are here in Canada?
5. Do I have to show 3 years consecutive income in Canada?
This is just the start, and I understand that currently they are not accepting applications since they have completed their quota of 5000 for this year.
I will appreciate any guidance or pointing me in the right direction for more research and understanding.
Thanks and Best Regards
current trend is it takes a year to get interview date ..it appears that interview dates for september month are full..you will get october month for interview...apply for notes to see why those lovely folks in ND visa office want to see your husband for interview...mangatdhanveer said:Hello.. I just got to know from the MP that my husband is scheduled for an interview. How long does it take to know the scheduled date? Do they email or update it on ecas? Till now its just AP. and can anyone tell which month should He be getting an interview just an estimate.. I am estimating oct or november
Thats what I am estimating as well.. So will they email or update it on ecas? Its jusy that i am getting too bored seeing the same ecas status.. So it would be easier if they just email us.waiting 2 exhale said:current trend is it takes a year to get interview date ..it appears that interview dates for september month are full..you will get october month for interview...apply for notes to see why those lovely folks in ND visa office want to see your husband for interview...
Hahah.. I have already applied for notes will be getting them next week.. I was expecting the interview as the wedding was simple with parents not being able to make it at wedding even though I stayed with my in laws.. Provided enough proofs .. But somewhere I knew simple wedding without parents would be a red flag so lets see..waiting 2 exhale said:current trend is it takes a year to get interview date ..it appears that interview dates for september month are full..you will get october month for interview...apply for notes to see why those lovely folks in ND visa office want to see your husband for interview...
they will email you or your lawyer if you have one....visa officers are bored at looking similar applications as well and that's why they have some fun by asking people to appear for interview and ask them stupid questions...some offices entertain themselves by having friday parties while NDVO likes to see people for interview and ask stupid questions..for some government offices 'thank god it is friday.. it's party time' for ND visa officer 'thank god i get to torture people with stupid questions'....mangatdhanveer said:Thats what I am estimating as well.. did you atleast have grandpa with his false set of teeth to attend? it is a red flag for not having him...you can have parents attend the wedding but no honeymoon then it is a red flag; you can have honeymoon but did not go to hill station then it is a red flag...who knows what these lovely folks consider as red flags...check notes and you may get a hint...mangatdhanveer said:Hahah.. hey sravoct just correct ur timeline ur medical is lil bit wrong. ..I think its 22-9-2013 not 2014..sravoct29 said:Student Visa refusal may not effect your chances , In most cases student visas are rejected likely due to financial reasons ( 'i.e' you can't afford the tuition or your scholarship is not enough etc).
But here, your spouse is approved for sponsorship means he/she has financial ability to take care of you. Be positive.. you will hear good news soon.
