what they asked from you in ADR? when they have asked and when u sent additional documents?

They asked on 4th June and I sent them on 13th June.

Hi everyone, here is an update from me after long time. After submitting ADR they sent me interview letter yesterday. I'm not sure if these people got my documents because they didn't reply any of my enquiries yet. We applied for notes and it's been 43 days now and still not here. From mp enquiry we found out about interview only and nothing else. I feel like withdrawing the application right now! What would be the implications in the future if I do? I think the reason for interview is lack if pictures and simple marriage with no family attending. What are my chances of passing the interview?

how can you even think of withdrawing the application, n y are you scared of interview, what are the things about your partner that you don't know, if parents not there it must be a love marriage, n how is it possible you don't know your husband...this is weird for me however if your husband is planning to move back to India with you I can understand but withdrawing because there is an interview doesn't make any sense. Just go for it and there will be no mountain trekking, they want to see if you know your husband which I believe you do and check if your relation is genuine or not.
so if it is a genuine relation and you both are interested to live in Canada go for the interview n take it easy otherwise yes you may withdraw.

how can you even think of withdrawing the application, n y are you scared of interview, what are the things about your partner that you don't know, if parents not there it must be a love marriage, n how is it possible you don't know your husband...this is weird for me however if your husband is planning to move back to India with you I can understand but withdrawing because there is an interview doesn't make any sense. Thanks for your comment! It's not that I am scared of interview. And I know my husband very well. It's 8 yrs relationship. But it has always been a long distance relationship. For ADR they asked me to send them my marriage pics and our pics with my parents. All are happy in the family it's just that no one attended the wedding as it took place away from home. Yes it's a live marriage. I am not an Indian and our marriages are usually a simple affair. I feel that I have given them everything that I have to show my marriage is genuine. What else to give them now? If they just ask questions about my husband I can do that. It's very depressing going through their letter, i.e the kind of words they use

I have a question i am OCT 2013 applicant and they have asked for ADR and that was suppose to reach NDVO by 27 July and i have submiited ADR on 4 july and my medical is geeting expired this week so whats the process next by NDVO, are they gona ask for re- medical......

Ohk...whose parents doesnt attent mrg?
They asked me for the wedding pics, outing pics, and my in- laws passport copy. Plus proof of ongoing relationship.

But dnt wry find strong reason for why they have not attended marriage..which date they have scheduled for interview?

This doesn't make sense to me! We are both in our 30s and independent! They are doing it a bollywood style I guess. Anyway interview is on 3rd sept 99.30 am

Jasmine, take my words, if you do some research and be little extra smart, you will get your visa for sure
firstly, draft a letter and get it signed by both sides parents (& attested by lawyer) that they had a reason for not attending the marriage and they know abt the relation and they are very happy for both of you.
secondly, discuss with your husband about the strengths and weakness in your relationship by looking through an eye of a stranger i.e. consider you r looking at a stranger's case and you are visa officer and you need to know if the relation is genuine or not,
obviously you have lot of weak points i.e. parents issue (that can be solved by giving letters with their contact numbers), long distance relationship (wat was the reason behind that, anybody will be doubtful to see a couple in long distance for 8 years), even I am very confused to know this n how is it possible, there must be a good reason behind, think about it
get more n more proofs of communications, n whenever you were together, places visited, with friends etc etc n keep discussing here as there are people here who have gone through variety of scenarios with NDVO and they can help you a lot

Thanks Neha! We have known each other for 8 years but got married only last year. I submitted the letters from my parents with my ADR already. Other than that the only red flag I can see is educational level difference. I have more years of schooling than he does. How to address this issue? I can say that we are compatible because of the reasons known to us but how to convince the VO?
