for a person who has no twisted mind this seems like a straight forward case and you have provided enough documents to show that relationship is genuine..but for ND visa officer's mind 'yeah you proved that you got married, came to see your wife one time after the wedding so how are you communicating all these months..this seems you just came, got married and then came back for 10 days after the wedding and no communication in between.....show me the proof that you were having a genuine relationship...'

We are communicating in Skype and I call her using Reliance India call, so calling records show reliance Toronto number instead of her number.
from last 9 months we r using WhatsApp. I can print and send these records if they ask. I have a good job and she has computer sci engg undergrad degree. Our families approved this marriage and we have no other way to prove beyond this.

I am not sure how else to prove relationship beyond this.

Hi All,

I applied for my wife's immigration under Family class in October 2013. ( I am Canadian Citizen) .

Application is received by CIC Mississauga on Oct 29, 2013.
My sponsorship is approved on Nov 20, 2013.
File transferred on Nov 26, 2013.
Passport was requested on Jan 20,2014 and sent on Jan 23 ,2014.
Current PR status is Application and Medical results are received.

She is 25 and I am 29 years old. Same Religion,Our's is a arranged marriage,Our families are acquaintances. We didn't have engagement party. Over 200 people attended our wedding. We haven't gone to honeymoon as i was there only for 2 weeks.

My question is, We haven't sent any phone /skype records. we sent over 30 photos. I visited twice in last one year, once for our wedding in Aug 2013 for two weeks and In Dec 2013 for 10 days ( Passport stamps and airline ticket copies are sent).
Do u guys think ours is straight forward application. Any chances for ADR request.

I didn't even go to honeymoon, My second visit i stayed 10 days at my wife's home in Hyderabad. I sent some of those photos , trip details, ticket and passport stamps with passport request. we postponed our honeymoon until she comes here. I am worried about New Delhi Visa officers prejudice. I file for PR in OCT 2013 though we go married in Aug 2013..it took 2 months for my wife's Police clearance in Hyd. It's hard to stay away from each other this long. Lets hope everything is going to be alright.

W2E, I filed my application immediately after marriage in Dec 2013,. After filing my app, i went to visit my wife only once in March 2014. Now, I did not send proofs of this second visit to CIC/NDVO. Do you think it is necessary i should send this proactively to NDVO before their monkey mind starts acting up?

are things starting to speed up at ndvo or is it just me? I'm praying for some good news in the next couple of months :) congrats to those getting their visas. can just imagine the feeling of knowing your wait is finally over :)

Your medicals date may be Aug or Sep . Now Nov and even Dec files started moving So you will hear some development shortly and you may get IP DM before expiry of medical Play this waiting game very cool. Both of you to remain calm. As usual like all others in the forum face the taunting relatives boldly.

Expiring PR

Hi

I know every one is on the same boat, but there has been too many uncertainties around my sponsorship application. There has been so many misguidance & misdirection provided to us. I got my PR in Sept 2009, but I was having good job in India. Got Married in 2010. My PR was expiring on Oct 2014. I met a immigration consultant in India who suggested me to move to Canada, find a job & apply for my wife sponsorship. I came here in May 2013 (17 months prior to PR expiry) found a job with RBC bank here in AUG & applied for Wife's PR in Sept 2013.
Since I stayed in Canada before getting PR in 2009, CHC is confused about my Canada entry & exit dates, on 10-June-2014, I got an email for ADR about my entry-exit dates.
I thought my file should be straight forward since we stayed together for 2.5 yrs in India, 200+ marriage pictures, call history, post marriage trips itinerary & hotel stays etc.

It has been really tough times for past 14 months & counting ...
I have been to India twice for total 30 days.

Now my worry is my PR will be expiring in Oct & I stayed only 400 days as of now, can CHC deny a visa on that ground?
What should be the next steps?

Below are the dates
My PR date - Sept 2009
Canada Entry date - May 2013
Medical Date - 16-Aug-2013
Sponsorship Application Date -Sept 2013
AOR Date - 13-Sept
Passport request - 22-Oct-2013
ADR (Entry-Exit dates) - 10-Jun-2014
PR Expiry - 14-Oct-2014

Can anyone suggest next steps, please ....

My wife's medicals are going to expire on Sep 22. My wife has to face the relatives,i empathize her. I wish this whole process is more efficient and transparent. Until Visa Officer opens our file we are not even sure whether submitted proofs are enough, As i mentioned before we didn't submit phone and skype records.

Don't feel. Soon this will phase out. Soon you will hear good news.

Did you have the PR card already before moving to Canada? Or did you apply the travel document?
You have to be in Canada for a minimum of 730 days in a period of 5 years from the landing date.
Since you have already spent more than 3 years outside Canada, how would you satisfy this condition for renewing pr for the next five years. I guess you already had the pr card otherwise cic wouldn't issue you the travel document if you cannot satisfy that condition. You were lucky if you had the card. Else you wouldn't have got the entry to Canada. I guess cic would like to determine if you can meet this condition or not that's why they asked for the entry exit dates.
