I didn't have interview. My file is IN PROCESS since 24 April. Have done re-medical on 26 April. They are just waiting PCC from New Zealand. The location of file is FCU-FCR on 6 June

I AM A PR IN CANADA, CURRENTLY RESIDING IN ONTARIO.. I APPLIED TO SPONSOR MY WIFE TO COME TO CANADA AS A PR.. SHE IS CURRENTLY RESIDING IN INDIA.. THE MISSISSAUGA OFFICE RECEIVED MY APPLICATION ON MARCH 31, 2014.. AND STARTED WORKING ON THE APPLICATION ON MAY 15, 2014. I JUST RECEIVED A MAIL TODAY ON JULY 15, 2014, STATING THAT THEY HAVE FORWARDED MY APPLICATION TO DELHI CHC, AND THAT I AM AN ELIGIBLE SPONSOR. WHEN I CHECK THE STATUS ONLINE THEY SAY MY WIFE'S PR APPLICATION IS "IN PROCESS".. MEDICAL RECEIVED... I AM PRETTY CONFIDENT, THAT THERE ARE NO MISTAKES WITH THE DOCUMENTS SUBMITTED.. AND THERE SHOULD BE NO DOUBT REGARDING OUR RELATIONSHIP (WE BELONG TO SAME ETHNICITY, SIMILAR AGE GROUP etc. AND I HAVE PROVIDED ENOUGH PROOF)..

PLEASE ADVICE ME ON THE TIME FRAME WHICH WE CAN BOTH EXPECT REGARDING MY WIFE GETTING THE PR VISA FROM DELHI... I HAVE CHECKED ONLINE... IT SAYS 13 MONTHS.... BUT I WOULD LIKE TO HEAR ANYONE'S PERSONAL EXPERIENCE.. I HAVE ALSO CHECKED THIS WEBSITE AND OTHER WEBSITES... ALL THE BLOGS ARE USUALLY OUTDATED BY A YEAR OR TWO....

ANY RESPONSE WOULD BE HIGHLY APPRECIATED....

yeah processing time is 13 months. ..I hv never see that someone's status shows in-process...its shows decision made when they approved u as a sponsor. ..have u checked both sides status I mean sponsor and applicants ecas status. ..
wait for few days then update again that its still IP or DM..gud luck

you have done your remedicals and your file has gone to in process in april 2014..it usually takes two months to get 'DM' status but since you have NZ police clearance it is delaying more...by august you should go into 'DM' status unless NZ clearance takes forever to get it...

If anyone can advise, what documents we have to take to the panel physician to do remedicals, as the passport is already submitted...

Also they have asked for "Completed MEDICAL REPORT CHEST X-RAY REQUISITION AND REPORT form (Page 5 and 6 of IMM5419)"....do we need to take printout of this form along with us???

Also, last yr my husband did his remedicals from Chandigarh....now he is in New delhi....so, he can get it done from there...right?????

No further update for pending october files since last 8 days.God knows what these guys are up to.

if ur husband is in delhi then search for the panel physician from Delhi. ..
documents like passport's photocopy,, email's photocopy which they send you to do remedical,, also take with forms printout. .

panel physician know everything so no need to worry. ..also if you have emedical receipt take it also if they want to see it...

I have got my interview on 28 th july..nd m vei tensed about it...can nebody pls assist me abt wat dey will ask nd all....

did you apply for notes? if so, last two pages will give a hint as to what those morons are concerned about..if not, go through your file and figure out what could be the issue that they are concerned (sometimes it might be nothing and they could have interview for quality purposes to check if other morons entered the data correctly or not). From your application come up with questions how the relationship evolved if it is love marriage; timeline when did you both meet and how it progressed; if there is huge age/education difference how would you address it; religion difference; if either of you had previous marriage and a child is involved how would you deal with it; there is a link to 250 questions in this forum just go through that (difficult to memorize but have a general idea as to how you would answer if any of those questions were asked); make sure your answer and sponsor answer are in sync and if you don't know the answer then it is ok (but not the basic ones like birthday date; marriage date; date you met and proposed; your siblings name etc..)...be confident and don't worry...it is hard to predict what would they ask but if you have notes, you could narrow it down to what their concerns are....

confirmation of permanent residency 2 copies one with photo and the other one not (telling you by what date you should land besides other information); some general information on resources as to medical information, employment, how to keep PR alive etc...two/three pages notification and your passport..check names and other information as for their accuracy..passport arrives by Indian postal system by registered post and if the postman shows all his 32 teeth (prorated according to how many teeth he has) then it is time to shed some money...

hi upasanagovind, I got decision made on 30th june and they issued my visa on 26th june ,dispatch passport on 3rd july n I received my passport with landing paper on 8th july....as VO return all my pics which I send with my application on my interview day..and yeah ,I got passport via registered post....u will get ur passport soon...happy married life ahead..

I have applied for notes today. My MP has told me that Security and background checks are In Process... and that the file has just passed 13 months so keep waiting...

I am now officially the longest application without a Visa for the year 2013 I believe...

This is horrible... I am thinking of writing a letter to NDVO but obviously it will not be read and thrown into the garbage... what can I do to push my file sitting in somebody's desk and collecting dust...what are my alternatives?
