Thanks for the prompt reply, but i was expecting to happens things faster as i sent them the documents within 3 days of their request mail but still no update. Do you think they will reopen the file again on the date (the dead line date of 11th july) they mentioned to send the documents.

I don't think so u hv interview chances...the problem of dese morons if u sent anything in 3 days but there speed is always same...they are so lazy..but ur file is open they done othr things on it..u will sure received IP in a few days...

hey pearl, how did they know about your husband's second visit, did you update after his second visit??

I attached all the pictures when I filed the application with all proofs. In additional info they also requested the pictures of sponsor's second visit to the sponsored applicant that we had so we submitted those pictures too. Do you have an idea, how does bfd work? what is the average time they review the file again or is it diff in each case? I heard that it is 60 days but m not sure .

I opened my ecas today and saw a little change. There wasn't any mailing address showing before but its showing today. Does that mean they have started working on my file thats why I see that change on ecas. Has anyone else observed this change before you went into "in process".Any comments?

its not a usual practice and there is no as such trend or relation bt address update and In process, but as you are an oct applicant for sure they gonna open your file this week or next,
wait for the IP

I think thats d first Time someone mentioned this kind of situation may b dats change in a gud way..I think ur turn will b come in a few weeks...but don't raise ur hopes too high...

yes it was proper marriage and reception as well.
i dont have to tell that how punjabi marriages held. ;D ;D ;D.

she stayd for up to 2 months after marriage
i have all the proves and photos of functions even photos of second visit of my wife when she came to perform karwa chouth rituals and diwali and we attanded one of my cousin's wedding as well in November.

the only thing is missing that we didnt had honeymoon..
coz she has to return back to Canada to continue her job ..

Is your wife a PR or a Citizen? Also any educational and career differences?

age difference or lack of honeymoon per se may not be the reason for interview...but be prepared to answer...as for why no honeymoon tell them that you are waiting for PR card so that you can have first and second honey moon (cute answer..i know they will be impressed...lol) combined or if the traditional Indian woman interviewer ends up interviewing you ask her 'mamaji, did you have honeymoon in 1800s when you married your husband?'

interview gone very well. i answered all d questions very well...5weeks over after interview,,no dm still

sorry to hear about your interview, it is just a waste of time and I am sure you will be through, be in touch with w2e and others who did interviews, read all questions, discuss with wife, and if it was an arrange marriage, for sure they will find it fishy coz usually it doesn't happen this way in punjab, you have to handle it very carefully, don't get aggressive coz its just you who know its a genuine relationship, you have to describe your feelings, your love for your wife and talk in easy way that how does it matter now a days, its about the compatibility, mental level, etc n I have seen people with such gaps do really great in life, thy r amazing partners etc etc
hv you read the last pages of caips, what are their concerns except age difference, honeymoon doesn't play such a big role I guess.
and if possible don't look for interpreter and behave like a 21st century, advance, grown up mature couple who got married and are very happy because they are in love with each other.
I know its your wife's right to take you to Canada, but immigration officers if get offended waste a considerable time and its too bad.

no no , not my husbands second visit he is in india . I am sponsoring him so I visited him in india this yr in january.I did not update anything. So they emailed my husband for additional info and they mentioned in email "Please advise if your sponsor has visited you again . If yes, provide copy of all pages of sponsor’s passport and photographs taken during sponsor’s second visit to India.

ur spouse is in Canada he/she will b done MP enquiry. ..how to find out the MP of ur area is fill ur postal code and u know dat whoz d MP of ur area...first time go to ur MP's office and tell him ur situation. .afterdat whenever u again hv MP enquiry u will just write an email to him...

If i were you, I would apply for notes immediately, coz sep is almost done, so for sure they have opened your file and left their comments and you can get these easily from notes in 30 days, right now it is the perfect time to apply for notes, and you can believe me for that.
MP inquiry is not much of trustworthy because many times they lie, we all know, but notes are 100% trustworthy
rest its your decision.
