Congratulations!!! Did the status on ecas change Friday or do you think it could have changed sometime last week, were you checking?

I am. I got my passport last week. Keep checking the login info given to you by VFS. Once New Delhi dispatches your passport and the VFS office receives it, the online status changes to 'ready for collection'. You can receive your passport any day after your status changes. THey give out passports from 2pm-4pm. If you are sending someone else to collect your passport on your behalf, make sure you give them your original citizenship, but if you go, please take any identification document/photocopy of your passport. Hope this helps.

so long... cuz of backlog... due to that PAFO Strike.! Many of 2012 applicants
have been waiting for our visa for more then 20 months.

;D omg mg omg. i really surprised. i got my passport with shiny visa yesterday 3:00pm by indian speed post. 1 and half year NDVO Torcher is completed on yesterday.iI booked the flight ticket on 4/07/14 . Thanks to all friends in this Session.

I hope, All are Getting visa soon. God helps to everyone. I never feel before this painfull experience. Daily waiting waiting waiting. Several times. And check e-cas three times per day after meals like a medicine. Lot of tensioning after checking ecas. Beause nothing changes on e cas.

hey desijatt and rksandhu u guys made me laugh so much on ur med expiry joke, after so long...I have v high fever since few days and my child has severe allergy that laughter is a gone thing, but this forum is full of good ppl desijatt, rksandhu, abhishekh goel who can send belly-laughter to the world's most sick ppl...God Bless you all with a very speedy visa and may ur meds be extended or u all may get the re-med request v soon
