Did you get any update? Wish speedy visa for you Dolma and all others too..

I am so happy now i can live with my hubby..this account was created by my hubby about which i came to know only when my interview call came in march 2014 and i wanted to prepare for my interview..at that time i visited on this forum first time and since then i was active on this account and sharing the posts with all..

This forum was great help for me to get the knowledge about the process how the immigration process is getting through....

I wish speedy visa for all... Best wishes..Mr. & Mrs. Boss Big :)
I didn't get any updates....still in process..I don't know y takes so much time. ..last time in march I ordered gcm notes...at tht time all r not started...except interview recommend.. is it the reason of ndvo to take time to issue visa?

When we ordered the GCMS notes at that time our medical was passed and file status was in progress..

I know this waiting (in process) is very tough and everyone gets impatient... Did u have any long travel history? I didnt have any travel history so don't know what is the exact criteria for it after getting in process..Why the time varies so much for different applicants.. Very tough to comment about it.. Hopefully tomorrow morning you will get some update as my DM updated on last sunday morning on my ecas..

So relieved! We Finally got DM!

I am so excited about this!! :D

*edit:
1. AOR August 27th, 2013
2. PP Request Oct 2013
3. IP May 29, 2014
4. DM June 6, 2014

It had been a tough few months. It was especially difficult during the months when my wife's incorrect email address was on file, and we hadn't received the AOR or any request for passport from NDVO. My wife and I are extremely grateful for all the support we have gotten.

Hi All,

I am an early March'2014 applicant. And my Spousal application is still in process after the file is moved over to NDVO.

In March itself I applied for Student VISA. I found a course and an university near to where my spouse is located. Student VISA got approved for the May intake and I was able to come to Canada in April. I wanted to anyhow do higher studies , so both of this came together and I am with my spouse now.

Course I had taken is a one year course and i expect my processing of the spouse visa to be also done in the same time. Anyhow i will have to go back to India to get my spousal visa stamped on the passport.

Note: There is no where in the student visa document that asks for whether you have applied through any other Canadian immigration application.
The course cost could be anywhere between 12k CAD to 30K CAD.
I applied through a consultancy.
NDVO allows for dual intent.
Right course selection and a strong Statement of Purpose is the key.
I do not know any negative effects of this application on the Spousal VISA.

Just wanted to share my experience, hoping it might help someone.
